Comfortable shoes, feel slightly flimsy but maybe it's just me cause they feel soo good on ur feet. Not use to boots feeling so great. Had em for about 2 weeks. I will say don't get them wet, they will squeak till they dry off. So just take a towel or something and wipe them clean if you can.

I haven't worn boots in over 13 years since retiring from service. Now active in Civil Air Patrol, it was time to put some boots back on. I have knee and back problems, tend to walk with a cane, so was skeptical on boots, especially to bend over and tie. These boots have been a life saver. I have worn now 4 times for meetings. They are stiff, not overly flexible when walking, but the soles put a lot of ease on my back when walking, and find I can stand without a cane for decent period to teach. For putting on and tying, the top 3 "loops" make it easy remove the laces, put them back on, and tie. I love these, these were the boots I've been looking for post service.

These boots work well for anything you might do that takes something more substantial than athletic shoes but less than ultra-reinforced steel toe work boots. They're waterproof and the sole tread is nice and rugged. The laces they give you are good length for around-the-ankle lace-up too which I appreciate. The only bad thing I have noticed on these though is that they do not breathe at all. Most boots like these don't breathe much so it's not a huge deal but worth mentioning in case it's important to you.

The boots at first were very comfortable and seem built well, they were water proof. I do home remodeling and so after less then a year usage the bottom rubber that wraps in front and sides started to seperate and so then debri, dust & water moisture got inside my shoe and I tried to use some commercial adhesive to glue the rubber back and it kind of fixed it. But since moisture got inside it left a mildew smell and ruined the work boot, I tried air dry, powder etc especiallyin Arizona dry weather with no success. I don't think I will purchase again since it did this. I wish it held together but unfortunately 😕 it did not and once moisture get inside it causes issues in the fabric inside and the mildew smells gets worse inside the shoe through out the day and it's been 5days and I will be tossing them away. I will buy a different brand and I don't know if I would recommend these boots especially as a day to day home remodeling. I expected at least to last a year or so and they failed my expectations.

I walk my dogs appropriately 6.5 miles a day... on an asphalt trail. I ordered the size 10 Wide brown boots... they fit right on very comfortably... good ankle support... toe & heel protection... might want to add a sole cushion of your choice... I bought these for $30... worth double that...

These are very nice boots, a bit stiff at first but like any shoe they need to be broken in first. The sole can be a bit tough I would recommend a high quality insole insert but other then that they are great. They look good, and are almost exactly the size they say they should be. I highly recommend using there size chart and measuring your feet over going with your normal shoe size. I measured my feet on a peice of paper and got the size. ( 9 ) that was just barely bigger then what my foot measured and the shoe is just barely bigger then my foot so a perfect fit. They are very well made and have great ankle support. I live in alaska so they are around a lot of snow and water and my feet are always dry and warm. A bit slippery walking around at first but after getting warn in for a week or 2 that goes away.

The quality of the boot is great and very sturdy. The boot is stiff, but once you break it in its very comfortable and light. I don't feel fatigue wearing it all day or when I'm running in them at work. Great buy for the price! Will look at other Free Soldier products!!

I work as a dog groomer I bend stoop and get them wet almost a daily basis, I haven't had them more than 6 months and the soul is starting to separate from the shoe. Really comfortable and would probably be great for hiking. Not slip resistant.
