I do a lot of hiking every year, most years I hike between 200 - 300 miles. I took these on their first hike. I only went 4 miles because I was unsure how they would feel. They are very roomy, in fact they feel a little big on me and I got a blister on the back of my heel from my foot sliding up and down. I can say they felt great on the first two miles. On the third mile, I started feeling a hot spot on the back of my heel. On the fourth mile, I could clearly feel a blister forming. I'm a size 10 on every shoe and boot I've ever purchased in the last 30 years, and on the pair I was sent, they run large. I'm sure a thicker pair of socks would help, but in the summer, that would be very hot. They are super lightweight. I weighed them and they are 13.3 ounces. The product page says .9 pounds, which is 14.4 ounces so these are about an ounce lighter than claimed. I love that!

This is my first rodeo when it comes to tactical boots, but I think I might be sold! They are very lightweight, but offer good support ( especially with the insoles I put in them), and they are extremely lightweight. The outsoles provide really good rugged grip. I live on a decent-sized property, and often have to hike it to find horses or do other things, and these will be perfect for that, particularly in the summertime when heavy boots are not fun. I really like the styling, the fit, and the comfort! Highly recommended.

These boots are super comfortable. I needed something to wear when I go out into the woods to metal detect. I am so glad I got these. They are very comfortable and lightweight. No need to break them in either, already feel great. I will be spraying these with a protectant and I am sure they will last me a long time.

I got these because I wanted something a little sturdier than a running shoe but less heavy than a work boot. These actually fill that need really well. These shoes are well made and lightweight. The mesh material they are made of is water resistant but also allows your feet to stay cool. The tread on the bottom is rugged and great for any condition. These boots have a nice wide tongue that also creates a nice barrier to make them water resistant. All of these features I’ve mentioned so far are absolutely great, but one of the most important things in a pair of shoes for me is comfort. These boots are just not that comfortable. I’ve worn them to work for two days now. My work is a mix of office work and warehouse work. At the end of both days my feet hurt and I couldn’t wait to take my shoes off. These are marketed as a hiking boot and I cannot imagine wearing these on a long hike. That being said, these are well made and I think they will last even if worn daily. I may try putting some insoles in them to see if I can make them a bit more comfortable because I do like the look of them.

These are mostly great desert boots! They are exceedingly comfortable. I have very wide feet and they are accommodated without the merest hint of an issue here. The ankle part is exceptionally comfortable, perhaps the most comfortable I have ever felt in any shoe I have ever worn. It is obscene, I feel like I have a pillow wrapped around my ankle. The soles are about standard comfort, which is only a disappointment in comparison to the ankle cushioning, but I would feel comfortable doing a big walk in these, I reckon. I would say the sizing is rather suspect. I had to size up a half given they do not do half sizes, and even with that cushion, my toes are still getting a taste of the end of the shoe. I would say there is a decent chance you will need to size up one here if you are a round size. But very comfy on the whole, and reasonably stylish as pseudo-military kit goes.

I have already referred three friends to buy these boots. They are going to Alaska on a cruise and wanted lightweight waterproof boots. I love mine. They are very lightweight and very comfortable. I did add some gel insoles for added comfort.
