I used these boots for an airsoft site in North New Hampshire. The site was 70+ acres with terrain going up and down in different elevations. There were also plenty of large rocks and branches on the ground, as well as wet slippery mud from time to time. These boots provided even support around my lower and upper foot. The important feature of these boots would have to be the ankle support. There were moments where my ankles would’ve twisted irregularly due to the unevenness of the terrain, however these boots kept my ankles in check. Every was as advertised and I got through a 5.5 hour day at the airsoft site with no problems and only mildly sweaty feet. I definitely recommend these for Airsoft/Hiking use! TLDR: Boots were able to withstand uneven NH terrain along with constant running up and down hills for 5 hours and kept my ankles safe from injury. ... show more

Bought these a couple weeks ago for a paintball event. Wanted something cheap but worth spending money on. After many review reads I chose these. The 3 day event was held in the woods of northeast Oklahoma, extremely rough terrain with many many sharp rocks and large hills. I fell, I tripped, I slid, I shuffled, i scuffled. I treated these like hiking/combat boots in the toughest and roughest ways possible. I even ate it going down a steep hill and slid on the sides of them for many feet with no rips. The rocks there are sharp and many and my boots withstood it all. They are in perfect condition, barely ran down and fully functional. They are super comfortable (make sure to break in the heal though) and durable. I will absolutely buy again. The only thing I couldnt test was how they are in water due to it being so dry where I was. ... show more

My only complaint is that the boot feels a bit loose. I ordered my usual size, 10.5. Added an insole which made the fit just about perfect although it's a little soft. With a firm insole it should be perfect. The first time I wore them I hit the trails and actually ran a few miles then did some very steep, wooded terrain. Very comfortable boot and appear to be well constructed. Wasn't so sure about the zipper but it is the way to go. No point in lacing and unlacing once you have them set. ... show more

These are the most amazing boots I've ever had. I took them on an urban hike through Birmingham Alabama for about 15 miles straight from the box. They felt broken in and glove like. Very light. As light as trainers. These boots communicate like a Mercedes Benz. You can feel every rock but it's muted in a confident comfort. You feel like you can't make a wrong step. Very supportive and extremely cool inside. On 130 concrete you can't feel any heat. If you read this please give this company a try. You can tell a lot of thought and experience helped design these. They actually seam over built. I'll give another review in six months, but I believe it will be basically the same thing I just said. I'll never buy another brand.
