This shirt is great. I got the black and gold one. I'm 5'10, 203 lbs with a 46" chest and 34" waist. I was actually stressing on what size to get. I've never owned a Fred Perry polo, nor have I ever tried one on. For point of reference, I wear an XL in Ralph Lauren Custom Fit Polos, and the XL in the Fred Perry fit perfectly when I first got it. The arm holes are a bit snug, but they aren't uncomfortable and I actually prefer them this way. I wore it out of the box first to break it in, and was crossing my fingers when I washed it for the first time. It didn't shrink. I just washed it in cold water and hung it up to dry. I've always hung my polos out to dry so this isn't an inconvenience for me. Still fits perfectly. My advice: if you want a shirt that fits (not loose but fits) and you're a similar size to me, get the XL and don't fret about it being too small. Just don't put it in the dryer. ... show more

i am 5'8" 190 pounds and got the yellow twin tipped in XXL i normally wear Large for long sleeve shirts and button down shirts and XL on regular shirts don't like them fitted i go for comfort . neck is 16.5 and 32-33.THIS IS A SLIM FIT i always get the XXL for the slim fit on these polos. i once got a XL and it was perfect fitted but tight and it is a polo so the arms and neck area felt too tight and i like to button these polos all the way up. the XXL is prefect and comfortable it is more loose but once i wash them they do feel like there is some shrinkage but not even much to fit even better and the only reason i gave it 4 is the price i know i know not amazons fault but $90 for a polo with just stripe colors and the brand in the front eh! haha. my favorite polo though ... show more

Nice shirt so far. I see that it’s made in China... but to get anything made in “anywhere else” would be near impossible these days. I get it that the quality people were used to back in the days is not quite there, but so far my shirt is looking nice and fits well. I hope to add a few more to my closet as I like the fit in the arms and the shirt isn’t too long on the torso. Plus, it doesn’t have that annoying “ducktail” like Ralph Lauren Polo. I can wear this shirt tucked out or in without it looking weird like with Ralph’s shirts. Of course, I wished the price was easier on the wallet. So I might look into another shirts with similar style, but if you want to be a cool label-whore and sport a cool shirt that will get you noticed. Then hit up Freddy Perry’s collection. ... show more

The fit isn't horrible, but not as good a fit and quality as the classic. I have owned many of these polos over the last 20+ years. Made in China, not made in England.

American polo shirts—with their loose sleeves and sloppy torsos—just don't fit like these beauties. Love how the Fred Perry slim fit shirts hug the body and arms a bit. Very British, very cool. On top of that, these things are built like tanks. Substantial, heavy and strong. The collars don't wrinkle or pucker, the elastic on the sleeves don't stretch out. Classic mod styling and fit. If only they could be cheaper, they'd be perfect. I figured out that a Small in the Fred Perry Regular Fit is pretty much like a Medium in this Slim Fit, so if you can't find a specific colorway here, you might want to find it in a Reg Fit and size down. ... show more

I've never owned a Fred Perry Polo, but I've been a fan of them for some time. I normally wear an xl, but because it's a slim fit I went up a size to xxl.
