My 7 year old used this bat twice before it got a huge dent from hitting soft baseballs but I emailed Franklin and they replaced the bat within 3 days free of charge. The new bat has been great, no denting issues and feels more solid then the original one received and the logo is a little bigger too. Even though the first one easily dented I am rating this bat full stars because of my experience with the replacement. If you have any issues with your bat, call Franklin and give them your Amazon order info and they will take care of it.

The media could not be loaded. The 24” inch 14 ounce bat (green) suits my 4-year-old son just fine. For reference, he’s 42 inches tall and weighs 36 pounds. He recently started Little League and loves his aluminum bat. The bat is lightweight and allows him to make good contact with the ball. Keep in mind this bat is designed for tee balls (soft tosses are fine, it’s just not designed to withstand 100 mph fastballs from Aroldis Chapman). The lightweight design, however makes the bat prone to denting (see photo). The good news is that Franklin customer service is responsive and was able to honor the 90-day warranty because the bat ended up denting after 30 days of continuous use. The replacement bat from Franklin arrived within 5 days of contacting the company. The new bat shipped directly from Franklin is a different design than the bat that arrived from Amazon (see photo). The new bat says “teeball” in large letters, has slightly different Venom logo pattern, and barrel has a more matte finish. No complaints about the replacement product. The bat meets the USA Baseball standard, which was updated back in January 2018. Overall, this is a great entry-level bat and an excellent value for the money.

My 6 year old got one and was not even hard on it and the top part came off and couldn’t be reattached so we got a replacement hoping it was a fluke issue. I had to go through the process of sending it back to them. The second, replacement one, was only used by him a handful of times. He hit it and this time the cap burst off when he hit and broke into pieces. Could’ve been real dangerous for my child or other kids nearby. It was not cheap either so I expected better quality for a bat. I would NOT recommend nor buy this bat ever again.
