At first, I did not love these. I had every intention of returning them—so much so that I even started the process and had the box sitting in my car, ready to drop off. THEN one day at school, I had to change my shoes for reasons that are unimportant, and the only pair I had on hand were these loafers. And you know what? They surprised me. They were far more comfortable than I originally gave them credit for. Honestly, I’m grateful for my procrastination because it gave me a chance to actually wear them. I think I've bought every color of these shoes. They are lightweight and so comfortable. They can be worn with pants or skirts, are great for work and can be casual. I always thought Rothy's shoes looked so cute, but they don't carry wide width. These are similar to some of their styles, have larger sizes and wide widths, and are a fraction of the cost.     • Great flats - no breaking in necessary!

I bought these flats a week before leaving for Italy last month. They were comfortable from the moment I slipped them on my feet. I was concerned that I had not "broken them in" enough before leaving as I only wore them one day around my home, but there was not an issue at all during my trip. They did not rub on my heels; they are stretchy so they fit nicely, hugging my feet and no blisters! They soles are somewhat thin but rubber so not slippery. They do not offer much in the way of arch support but I did not wear them for long walks, mostly at night for dinner. I wore no-show black socks with them but could have easily gone without. Like this loafers - the great chocolate color, design and comfort. Just would be better if manufacturers make bottom of the shoes with more support. This loafers lost their shape in 3 months of use completely.
