I couldn’t be happier with the Frank Mully Women’s Knit Ballet Flat Round Toe Flats. From the very first step, they felt absolutely perfect. There was no breaking-in period, no stiffness, and no rubbing like you sometimes get with new shoes. They were comfortable immediately, which honestly felt like a little miracle for a ballet flat! The knit material is soft, flexible, and breathable, so my feet stay comfortable all day long. They hug the foot just right without feeling tight, and the round toe design gives plenty of room while still looking sleek and stylish. I’ve worn them for errands, workdays, and long stretches on my feet, and they continue to feel supportive and lightweight. Another thing I love is how versatile they are. My husband comments that most flats are nice looking shoes and these look good! I like the grey-black multi pattern I purchased! There are expensive flats, and flats can look bad on feet with bunions, and add to aggravation of personal podiatry. These are cost effective rubber, nice looking and work well for social wear. These are an excellent low-cost choice! I returned the size 8 and kept size 8.5. These shoes run 'true to size' for me, with the comfy inserts provided. Nice touch. Even so, my larger foot and toes are not perfectly happy, a little tight with warmer feet. There is room to wiggle my toes comfortably. These are a little loose on my heels, but I have a wide toe box, flat feet (barefoot preferred), and thin heels. That breaks down the fit. For an evening party or nicer social event, these will be fine and certainly comfortable even without the inserts. As a packing item, definitely would slip in the crevasses of a carry-on. I have always loved ballet flats, but have hated how flimsy and narrow they can be. My feet have grown a full shoe size with each pregnancy, so I’m usually just shy of a 11 wide. These are definitely wide enough (and have nice stretch) and seem durable. There are spare insoles included, too! They’re so comfortable I kept thinking they were about to fall off. They don’t. They stay put while feeling like you’re not even wearing shoes. I am glad I read the reviews. They run about a half size big, but luckily they have half sizes even in the larger sizes. Definitely size down if you’re on the fence about which to choose. If you require a lot of arch support, you may want to purchase inserts. I’m very happy with my purchase and plan to get multiple colors in the near future. ... show more

These felt great at first, but within a few months of daily wear I have to replace them. I tried insoles, but the back of the shoe doesn't come up far enough to stay on even with a very minimal insole.

Success! I finally found a dress up shoe I can tolerate! I have very narrow long feet (10.5 US / 43-44 Euro AA width). Very challenging to find anything that works. These feel loose at mid foot but don't slip when I walk - even less slipping with socks on. The heel height is low enough not to irritate/rub my Achilles tendon. The shoe is made of fabric and really does stretch. Even though my big toe touches the front of the shoe it feels good - like a nice hug. Therefore, this runs true to size - I measured, ordered my usual size and it's just right. It has a flat bottom with almost no heel and total flexibility in the sole. I'm used to barefoot style walking shoe and this feels similar but slightly more supportive. Only difference is it does not have a wide toe box (which fits a normal human foot shape, not about foot width). For a dress up occasion this toe box is tolerable, as I can't stand my toes being smashed into an inhuman point anymore. No arch support or thick cushion, but it does feel like there is a sufficient layer between your skin and the ground. You could fit an orthotic in this as the inserts are removable. Actually I may wear this in the house all day, it feels that good - almost like a structured sock more than a shoe. It comes with an extra thin insert liner of needed. I doubled them up - it feels even more snug and so far I like that. My elderly mother, who has medium width feet with toes that poke shoes in odd spots, also loved the feel of this shoe, and she is very picky. She's been wearing hers as house slippers instead of dress up shoes, so I may need to get her a second pair! ... show more
