I got this to have a launch/land space on top of my car without scratching it. I do this because I have a bad back, and it helps me to not have to bend down constantly. It's heavy enough that it stays put even in wind. Comes with a nice protective bag.

I plop this mat down when I'm taking off from grass, sand, or dirt. Pavement I'm usually fine but the mat serves as a visual cue for people that this space may occupied by a drone. I like this pad for my Holy Stone sub-250 drone. The weight is just right, not too light so it won't blow away, and not too heavy to have to tote around. It comes with a tote bag, which I won't use but maybe you will. It folds up nicely to fit in most flight bags that drone flyers use.
