Purchased this foldable landing gear for a DJI FPV drone. The installation is super easy, it merely clips onto the bottom of the drone. The skids easily fold in and become relatively flat once folded. The landing gear is plenty sturdy enough to handle the weight of the drone, light enough that it does not adversely change the drones ability to fly, and does not affect camera view. The only two draw backs (1) this landing gear connects over where the battery sits so you must unclip the landing gear each time you insert or remove the battery. On the other side, the landing gear keeps the battery and the bottom of the drone off the ground. The clipping and unclipping is easy and well worth it to protect the drone. (2) the drone may not fit in a carrying case with the landing gear attached, folded or otherwise. You may have to leave it unattached in order to fit in most carrying cases. Great product, money well spent.

“*****” It’s gets it right off the ground. Smooth landing as well. Very impressed on how easy it is to remove the landing gear & replace a battery and reinstall the battery & landing gear within seconds. Remove, fold, and stow away for next flight is a breeze.

Great add on for specific situations. Landing on irregular surfaces or easily damaged materials? These feet lift the drone off the surface when landing, or make hand recovery that much easier. Legs fold in for storage and lock out for flight. Will be on a sailboat in the Bahamas and these will make recovery easier.
