I purchased this for my 4 yr old granddaughter and it is just beautiful! I sew quite a bit and am very particular about the quality of fabric and workmanship of garments. I must say that the fabric is very nice, not the typical "costume" fabric that falls apart after Halloween. The construction of the dress is very professional and well done. It was delivered in a nice plastic dress bag. The directions for care says hand wash and I have a newer washer that I think will be fine on hand wash cycle and drip dry. It is a surprise for my granddaughter so I have not tried it on her yet but it seems it will fit her great with a little room to grow. I ordered size small..I know she will be thrilled with this! We are going on cruise in a few weeks and I plan to give it to her to wear on formal night dining. I am going to bring a needle and thread with me in case it is a little long. She will love this, it has all her necessary components, princess, glittery, big skirt (hoop is great) and above all PINK!!!! Thank you for a quality product, I know will do more business in the future.

I ordered this for my daughter and it is very nice quality for a costume. The sizes run fairly true to their size guide. My daughter wears a size 7-8 or 9-10 depending on the item (shirts vs pants) and the child's medium fits well. I agree with some of the other reviews regarding the upper hoop. It gives the dress an unseemly bulge that does not lay well. If you remove the upper hoop the bottom hoop gives plenty of fullness. This will make a nice play dress for after Halloween and the price is not at all unreasonable in comparison to store bought costumes. You are left with a play dress instead of garbage which most store bought costumes become the day after Halloween. My only complain is that this dress sheds a ton of glitter. I took it outside and shook it and brushed it and it is still shedding. Hopefully after a night out trick or treating it will settle down.

We got this dress for an event we were going to, and it was stunning and adorable the only issue she was not able to sit in it so we had to return it. If she could of sat in it, it would of been so so cute!

This review is mostly about the fit of the product on a 3t child. We were very pleased when we received the dress. It looks exactly like the picture except the hoops inside made it a little weird and it still touched the ground so we removed them. We chose the smallest one for my 34.5 inch 28lb 3yo and bought a separate hoop skirt. The hoop skirt definitely helped keep it off the ground unless she bent over and stepped on it. She did have to lift the front of the dress/hoop to walk. The shoulders were the biggest part and so we'll have to pin it together temporarily for trick or treating. So far it has endured a trunk or treat and a zoo boo having accidentally been stepped on a few times. She looked fantastic and was complemented quite a bit! The dress is well made and will last as a play dress for quite some time. It doesn't seem itchy at all. I will definitely look into other costumes from Forum Novelties! For references the picture inside the house is when we first received the dress, before we removed the hoops. The picture behind the car is after her first trunk or treat and the picture sitting down was at the zoo boo. Both of those have an external hoop skirt from AMJ Dresses Inc.

this was a really great halloween costume. I wanted something we could layer if needed since in TN you NEVER know what the weather is until you walk out of the house. Like some of the others we did have to remove one of the hoops but I will say that the wire that is in the dress is a high quality and does a great job of holding it's shape even with my daughter wearing it repeatedly since halloween. The fabric wasn't cheap like a lot of kids costumes which is such a pleasant surprise. I am hoping that my youngest will get to wear it when she is older. Such a beautiful and well made costume for the price!

This costume is so beautiful! It has better quality than most and comes with a nice zippered plastic bag for storing. It is velvety and has 2 hoops under the dress to poof it out. The hoops are not removable. I took the advice of others and ordered up a size. I got the medium (8-10) size. My daughter wears a size 5 and is about 42"tall. It is a little bit long and drags on the floor, but I just pinned it. It has elastic around the waist. It is also a little big. But that's ok, there is room for clothing to be worn underneath. I would say the overall size of the dress is more like a 6/7/8. I'm so glad I ordered this costume. My daughter feels like a princess
