Finally got around to cosplaying Flynn Rider, I'm very picky with certain characters and pieces of their costumes and Flynn is one of them, I was worried about the vest not looking good or right. Bought this as I was going to my first ever Ren Faire and thought "no better time to finally do Flynn" and was near instantly recognized as him, so I think it does it's job!! Very comfortable and breathable, I went by the size chart and got a large I believe at first but it was far to big, could fold it over half my back of extra, was able to do a return and get the right size in very good timing, very speedy. Got a medium if I'm not mistaken and it fits like a dream, there's still room but it's nice to have it to move and vent. It has this stuffing in it but it's very comfy so 🤷. I’d wanted to cosplay Flynn/Eugene for quite a while, and when I saw this one, decided to bite the bullet. Over all, I’m very happy with it! It fits almost perfectly (I’m 5’8, 128ish lbs, slim build, and went with Medium, if that gives you an idea), and looks great. The stitching is good, though with a few odd thread ends here and there. It’s solidly constructed, and even has a little quilting for texture. Two quibbles I do have (and this is me being nit picky) are with the buckles. The picture showed five buckles on the vest, while the one that arrived only had four (not sure what’s going on with that), and they seem a little oddly spaced. Also, the snaps to open the buckles are a little finicky and stiff. But on the whole, I do really like this vest, and am one step closer to finishing a dream cosplay! *UPDATE* So it’s been over a year since I purchased this vest. In that time since, I’ve completed Flynn, and worn the cosplay to a convention! Over all, I’m still satisfied with it! It’s surprisingly comfortable on a convention floor, which, considering how hot and stuffy they can be, is remarkable! It’s held up pretty well, too, after consistent wear the last year. It does have a bit of stuffing that’s threading it’s way through the fabric, but not excessively. And a few random thread ends have shown up as well. But, beyond those things, it’s in no way falling apart, or looking shabby! The snaps being too stiff is no longer a problem; they’ve become much more manageable to work with since then.
