    • Not the Best For Homes With Hard Water

I am giving this product five stars because it is a really durable faucet that seems to be well made and as though it will last a long time. I also love it's sleek, modern appearance and find the matte black to give my guest bathroom an upscale kind of vibe. However, it is not the easiest to keep clean since I happen to live in an area that has a lot of minerals in the tap water. That said, white spots get left behind when the water dries and these are definitely pretty noticeable on a black surface. The handles and spout are easy enough to clean and do stay that way- but the plug inside the sink seems to be stained from only a few months of intermittent use (as I said, it's in my guest bathroom so doesn't get used every day or even every week.) Considering this, the sink goes for long periods with the water not being used at all- so perhaps this is part of the issue and it would be better if the water were running every day as opposed to being given the chance to dry out? I really don't know, but it does ruin the look a bit for sure. My boyfriend said it was pretty easy to install and, as of now, doesn't seem to have any issues with leaks. I received one faucet for free in exchange for this review as I am an Amazon vine member; however, I liked it enough that I bought a second one as my guest bath has a double sink and I of course wanted the second to match. I am still giving the product 5 stars because I can't deduct for a reason that has nothing to do with any faultiness of the product itself- I just wish my tap water were better! ... show more

I recently received this FORIOUS matte black widespread bathroom faucet and I am very pleased with both the look and the build quality because it feels solid and well made the moment you handle it. You can feel the weight of how solid it is in your hand. I like the clean square design where the base and spout meet since it gives the faucet a modern look without feeling trendy or cheap, and the matte black finish is smooth and fingerprint resistant, which really does help keep it looking clean. I also like the clear red and blue indicators because they are helpful and practical, especially for guests. The spout reaches nicely into the sink instead of being short and cramped, which makes washing hands more comfortable and reduces splashing. Water pressure is easy to control, and the included aerator gives a steady flow without feeling harsh. The faucet feels sturdy when turning the handles and nothing feels loose or flimsy. I liked the look and feel enough that I purchased a second set for a double vanity in my guest bathroom so everything would match. My husband will be installing these and feels installation will be easy since everything needed is included. The finish feels durable and I can see this holding up well over time without scratching or fading.
