I bought this even with the mixed reviews. It's been 2 months and I haven't shattered it or ruined the art work. I also haven't had an issue with the inner wood ring separating from the outer. I've worn it while using all sorts of solvents while working on greasy cars, painting, lamenting, caulking, etc. I've smashed it against metal while working in the garage and hit it on numerous different surfaces and have not had an issue with it breaking or the graphics scratching off. It's a solid ring for the price and I'd buy another if I needed another ring. Only complaint I have is the wood is not as dark as it was shown in the photo. I prefer a much darker shade then this light yellowish wood that it came with.
