I bought the short length, and they truly are short. They’re the perfect length for me and still work with both heels and flats. One of the biggest reasons I love these jeans is comfort. Since having surgery, I’ve struggled to tolerate many jeans around my belly button area. Most are fine for an hour or two before I’m counting down the minutes until I can change clothes. These are completely different. I can wear them ALL DAY and never feel desperate to take them off when I get home. I work from home and regularly choose to wear these while sitting at my desk, which says a lot. They have the right amount of stretch without becoming baggy or losing their shape throughout the day. The fit is true to size, and the quality is excellent. The zipper feels sturdy, and the material is real denim—not the thin, fake-denim fabric you sometimes get with online purchases. They feel like a pair of jeans you would happily buy in a store. The light blue wash has also won me over. As a millennial who spent years loyal to skinny jeans and darker washes, this has been an adjustment. My daughter insists dark jeans are out, and apparently she’s not wrong. The color is versatile and easy to dress up or down, although I personally prefer wearing them for more dressed-up looks. Would I buy them again? Absolutely. These jeans managed to accomplish something I didn’t think was possible: they made me willingly branch out from skinny jeans.

Well-made, flattering jeans

I get the hype with these jeans. They fit perfectly in the waist, butt and thighs. Very flattering. It’s taken me a minute to get used to the bagginess at the bottom but that is the style. We went to a winery last weekend and my husband took a picture of me wearing these jeans with a cardigan and they looked really nice. Very flattering. They are also comfortable and well made. Happy with this purchase. Edited to add that I just bought another color. These are a wardrobe staple.

Flying Banana wide leg baggy jeans: size 12Short - I love them! Just got them. Ordered 2 pair. 1 pair fit better-tighter than the other - as is with most anything you buy now. Stretchy/not too tight around waist - medium to heavy material. I weigh 160 - 5'2". They are a little long but that is normal with me. Hopefully after washing they will shrink a bit. The leg width is perfect. I have thick legs. Even after losing 40 lbs my legs are still thick, especially around my knee area. My old 10 year old jeans I can still wear but the legs are too tight - they show the bulge on top of my knees. FADED GREY! Please, offer these is FADED GREY. Please of Please UPDATE: I ordered a size 10S and they fit so much better. These have a lot of stretch, which is great, but after wearing the 12s for several hours, they were really loose, I could pull them off without unzipping them. Also, the 10s are a little shorter in the crotch up to the top of the waist band. Petite means you have a short waist - between crotch up to your waste (shorter arms/legs) shorter than other sizes - and when they are too high up on the waist it feels weird.

Disappointed... Hole after three months

Love the fit. Felt great in these. BUT after barely THREE MONTHS of light wear, I discovered the crotch has worn thin and there's a hole! I'm only wearing these for a few hours a couple days a week, and I'm not straining the seams! I haven't even dried them, and they otherwise look new. I'm very disappointed.
