How do I install the felt bulletin board tiles? Use the included adhesive tabs on a clean, dry, smooth, flat indoor surface. Remove dust, grease, and moisture. Press each tab firmly for 10 seconds. Are the tiles safe for all wall types? Best for smooth surfaces like cured painted drywall, glazed tile, or sealed wood. Peel tabs slowly downward, close to the wall. Do not pull outward. Can I arrange, cut, or reposition the tiles? Arrange them in any pattern before installation. To cut, use a sharp cutter on a cutting mat with a metal straightedge. Test a small corner first. Repositioning is not recommended. Does the felt pin board come with push pins? 11.8" × 11.8" Tiles (30 × 30 cm): Push pins are not included. Check the package contents for your selected size before purchase. Are the felt tiles fireproof or flame-retardant? No fireproof or flame-retardant certification is stated. Keep the tiles away from flames, candles, heaters, sparks, and other high-temperature sources. 100% upgrade. I had a large traditional cork board + a fancy, linen-covered one from HomeGoods in another room. They’re both out-performed and outclassed. These felt tiles are an improvement in so many ways: 1. Easy to apply to the wall; comes with loads of squares of nanotape to affix the felt to the wall. Works on “orange peel” plaster walls. 2. Thicker than cork yet much lighter in weight. Pins go in firmly and come out easily (because they aren’t hitting any cardboard core or backing). 3. They look so clean—the minimal design is elegant and melts into the wall. Seams vanish. 4. Can be cut to fit. And, they’re thoughtfully packaged in vellum, box in box, to eliminate crushed corners and wear. 5. I use steel T-pins instead of thumbtacks or push pins. This felt loves them, and I can use them to hang stencils, etc., using them like small pegs. 6. I don’t think there were any plastics in the packaging (!!!) beyond the bag of nanotape. I purchased a 12-piece set for my studio, then ordered a second set of 12 to double the size. They make great use of dead space behind a door and get bonus points for covering a few patches in the drywall. For the quality + thickness of the felt, and for the effectiveness/quality of the included adhesive tape, I wouldn’t buy anything cheaper from a different brand. These are a home run at a fair price. Note that the felt wants to grab dirt, so wash hands well before handling the lighter ones. I bought Milky White, and it’s worth noting that the felt on 3 of them has an occasional black or gray fiber in the felt, and one had a few tiny spots of mildew (graphite?) on the backside. I figured for 35.00, it wasn’t worth exchanging them—I sprayed that one tile with Lysol then put it up. Two of the tiles in the second 12-pack had smudges where they’d rubbed against something grubby during packaging. Flaws are easily fixed by pinning something over them. lol. However, if I bought again, I might go with gray—because I am already getting them a little dirty. 😂 (They love pencil graphite!) Despite drawbacks, I can’t overstate how much I love them. Being able to tack up anything over a wide expanse is really like having a vertical, visual junk drawer in the room. EDIT: first photo is 12 tiles; second photo is 24 tiles.

I wanted a cork board for my home office but I don't really like the way they look. My office is painted a gray-blue color with a dark desk, and the color of a typical cork board would have stuck out like a sore thumb. I forget what search term I used but I stumbled across this felt board and decided to give it a try in a dark charcoal color. This stuff is super easy to apply. Each felt tile gets a few dots of 2-sided adhesive tape (included) stuck onto the back. Then you stick each tile onto the wall. I chose a 3x2 grid of tiles (3 tiles across, 2 up) and it was just about the perfect size. Make sure you get the first tile stuck on straight, because each tile after will have to line up with it and you'll notice if they're crooked. In my office I was able to use the edge of the wall to align the first tile, and every other tile just butted up against one another. When I was done there were no gaps and everything looked good. The tiles are so light that they have no difficulty sticking even with the relatively small pieces of tape to hold them in place. MAKE SURE to give your wall a quick wipe down to get rid of any dust. This shouldn't be a problem unless your walls are really dusty but it only takes a second and will give your tiles the best chance at sticking. If you use a damp rag, make sure the wall is fully dry before you try sticking the tiles on. The tape will work well if you give it a chance. I like the way these tiles work. I seem to always have a couple of documents that I need to focus on in the near future but that are cluttering the desk in the meantime. With these tiles, I just stick them to the wall with a thumbtack. They're instantly visible but out of the way, and when I'm done with them I can file them, shred them, whatever. Push pins work as well as they would on a cork board and everything is very secure. If you want a corkboard with a distinctive, non-corkboard look, this is the product that you want.

Great quality and exactly what I needed for our homeschool area. We use it to display perfect artwork & unit studies. The felt is thick, easy to install, and has a clean, modern look. The included double-sided mounting adhesive only held for about a week, and command strips didn’t work well for us either. We switched to command brand velcro strips, & they’ve held perfectly ever since. Overall, we’re very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.
