This is the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever worn! I hate to wear dress shoes but I find myself in a suit, tie, and dress shoes more often now than ever in my 56 years. I remember in my youth my father would say take care of your feet and they will take care of you. He always wore Florsheim shoes. I finally bought my first pair of Florsheim's He was right. These shoes look fantastic with many options as well. The best part, I wore these shoes to a very long wedding and I was on my feet most of the time. My feet didn't hurt afterwards. I bought these shoes (10W),after two previous attempts to get the right size.Florsheim make their shoes big,(long).Their sizing charts state length and all,but still somewhat inaccurate.The sizing charts for these shoes would be more appropriate for a country like the Netherlands where people are on average taller and wear bigger clothes and shoes.Anyway I realize on average,dress shoes and boots typically fit bigger(longer)than regular shoes/sneakers up to a half or even full size.I wear a true size 11 wide in regular shoes,and these 10 wide Florsheims came in and finally,they fit right!A full size down it took though.The width with the previous shoes was not the issue but the length.They come with inserts already and wearing thicker socks to fix the sizing miscue was out of the question for shoes of this price,it was the principle of having the right fit.Considering the pair and previous pairs I received are labeled,Made in China,under the tongues,the quality is surprisingly good and will be keeping.And after examining them,there were no noticeable defects in the pair I received.I would say be your own judge,but I would recommend downsizing a half size at least,depending on the shape of your foot.Thanks for reading. ... show more
