I have purchased the Florsheim Riva for many years. It is a classic style and well-made. The leather is soft and comfortable. At one time I was able to purchase these locally in black, burgundy, and even light beige. Unfortunately the stores who carried this shoe have closed. I was delighted to find a black pair in my size here on Amazon. I wear a hard-to-find size. When I used to buy Rivas locally, my timing had to be perfect when the stores got these in stock, because my size always sold out quickly. Now I can find my size here on Amazon and at a great price. Since I have Parkinson's, I am unable to tie shoelaces, so I have to wear slip-ons. These shoes are perfect for me. ... show more

I bought this to replace one I had purchased decades ago. I don't use "dress shoes" very much but needed a pair for an upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, the one I had, though in great shape, was really tight (my foot must have grown 1/2 size) so this one fits perfectly. They fit. They look good. I look good. I feel good. These are good shoes. I wouldn't wear them all day because I walk and walk. These are not walking shoes, these are styling shoes. If I were a woman, for example, I wouldn't wear heels all day. That would kill me. I am glad I tried these and they are comfortable. I'm also glad I'm not a woman. I had to play one in a theatrical once, and the shoes darn near killed me. My ankles haven't been the same since. It could have been the basketball and football, but I blame the heels. The slipper to wear to work! If you work in an office that is. This is likely my fourth pair and when I ordered the 13c...it WAS a 13c!!! nice padding, extremely comfortable, and wears well. Passed on info to other friends and now they wear them also. For under $100, it's not gonna get much nicer. Needed a pair of shoes instead of my boots all the time. Bought these after reading other reviews. I have wide feet so I have to get 2EE or EW and they are hard to find some times. These fit perfectly and looked very good while on. They were also comfortable right out of the box. I'll probably wear them again but I like boots too much to wear these all the time.
