I bought these for a teen to wear with a suit. The look of these shoes was very nice. The insole was not quite as cushy as Cole Haan’s Morris style, but I suspect few shoes’ insoles are. However, it is nice cushioning for a dress shoe. (I put my feet in these shoes and others to test them myself, because getting accurate feedback on comfort, cushioning, and fit is nearly impossible. I know what wearing uncomfortable dress shoes is like, and it’s miserable. Better shoes are worth it, and your older self will thank you for not destroying your feet.) And it’s worth noting in this comparison that Cole Haan shoes in general apparently run rather narrow, but they are a perfect fit for my teen in 9.5W. Had previously tried a Florsheim style in a brick-and-mortar store, and they appeared to be a bit narrow or tight on the top of the foot, so thought maybe wide (9.5W) would work. However, this 9.5EEE (which I believe is equivalent to 9.5WW) we received was long in the toe box, and very much too wide and loose across the instep. Not sure if the toe was supposed to have that much space due to the style, or if we needed to size down a half or whole size. This style might have fit fine in size 9.5M. Really comfortable you're able to wear them straight out the box..Although I have a brown/tan pair this color was shone to be Congac i couldn't see the difference so I sent this pair back only for that reason. YOU can't go wrong with Florsheim a brand that been around for years

Timeless classic Black Oxford. Even though it is "Florsheim's" it looks great and has a basic old school look that just elevates your attire. Love the rubber souls and padding.
