I have another height adjustable (smaller at 47") desk from Progressive Desks that I bought back in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. The Progressive is built like a tank, and I was mightily impressed by that brand despite it being completely new to me. This particular Flexispot desk comes very close to that Progressive Dual Motor Desk in terms of quality - extremely well built though slightly under powered motor (the Progressive desk moves faster, and does not have much constraint on the use cycle of the motors (Flexispot recommends no more than 2 minutes of operation in a 20-minute timespan), lighter overall (both the frame and the desktop despite being 55" long). The good part is I bought this almost at the same price point at which I bought the Progressive Desk (which is now 1.5-2.0 times the 2020 pricing) - this means a lot more value for the FlexiSpot. Also, assembling the FexiSpot is much easier, mainly due to the fact that the top came with markers for the holes and the extendable frame just needed to be aligned and screwed in; the Progressive Desktop did not have the predrilled holes leading to all kinds of measuring and marking to ensure the supporting frame is really in the middle. ... show more

The desk arrived in 2 parts -- 1) the table top, and 2) the legs and the motor assemblies. The table top arrived with dents and scratches. Albeit the table top appeared to be packed decently, because of its weight it looks like it was damaged on the side and the box it came with just couldn't take it, even with reasonable paddings. I think the shipper (FedEx) could have handled it better. The box with the legs and the motors arrived with no damages. Messaged the seller about the issue. The seller offered the choice of a discount or a table top replacement. We opted for a replacement table top. The seller agreed. In 2 days we got the tracking number of the replacement table top. In 3 days the new table top arrived. This time it is a winner -- even the box had some bruises and scratches, the padding protected the table top OK. Assembling the whole thing isn't too difficult. The up-and-down motions work well. The mahogany color is beautiful. Overall, the desk is good. We like it. I also appreciate the decent customer service experience. ... show more

Just received and assembled my desk. I am very pleased with the weight of the desk. The material all seems very sturdy. The desk top has a nice pebble grain finish that I like. The instructions were clear to follow and the desk assembly went together smoothly. I am very pleased and impressed with Flexispot's 3 stage motor desk. It feels sturdy even when the desk is raised. I just assembled our new desk yesterday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness of the desk and the overall quality. The packages are HEAVY!!! It took me about 45 minutes to put the desk together using our standard drill. I immediately raised the desk to the max height (50) and was shocked. I thoroughly investigated different standing desks to make sure the max extended height was tall enough for my 6'5" husband. I showed him the desk when he got home from work and the look on his face when he saw the height was priceless. He said it was better than his desk at work. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I can't speak to the longevity of the desk yet, but I expect it to be worth the investment and then some. We move every few years for work so I will be curious to see how it holds up. ... show more

First words that comes to mind regarding the materials and quality: cheap, average, lackluster I ordered the 55” x 28” version of this item that includes a white frame + maple particle board top (btw, I thought I had ordered the bamboo top but hence got the cheaper particle board mess). The actual model is E4W (not the E7, as I expected). This was marketed as being heavily discounted during the most recent Prime day in 2023. The only capability I can see with this is an anti-collision feature which prevents the desk from crushing whatever is beneath the table (if lowering), or pressing up against (if raising). Pros: + ease of assembly + frame and top ship separately, + packaging is good, keeps things protected, + table has rounded corners, + good stability when raised to ~48”, + good range that can go below 25”, + electric motors operation is smooth and quiet, Cons: - no cable tray management for wires underneath, - frame to top mounts uses self tapping screws (basically when used with particle board, it’s a one time drill in) - pre drilled holes aren’t the best alignment: expect to drill holes yourself where the prescribed ones should have worked (I had to finesse the frame mount alignment to pre drilled holes, they were off by 1/8”) - marketing makes you think you’re getting a E7, but in reality it’s just a lower tier E4 - cheap ac/dc adapter (think a small laptop) with limited length of wiring to the brain - cheap metal holder for the ac/dc adapter - questionable if this holds up to intended weight and load rating based on the quality of parts (item description says it’s rated at up to 287 lbs total; but the framendocumentation says it’s 220 lbs) For a “pro” level desk; it does not come with any cable management tray as seen as with other desks. Don’t be fooled by the marketing. Actually, this is a basic desk with minimal features. All in all, IMO this desk is not worth anything over $200, It would have been better off getting a used Haworth or commercial desk (found in the workplace). ... show more

Great office desk that can go as low as 24.4 inches. I am 5'4", so I needed something that can go lower than the standard 28" desks. This desk is perfect for me both for sitting and standing up while working long hours.

My husband put this together by himself in just a couple of hours and said the assembly was not difficult. The motor is relatively quiet and I love that it goes lower than most motorized standing desks, as I am 5'2". Seems very durable. Highly recommend.
