I know I didn't do a good job of paying attention to the length but I was paying more attention to the weight limit for my oldest. I usually don’t write many reviews but this one deserves one. Do not waste your money! My 7 year old got this one for his 7th birthday and was so excited to go to our usual sledding hill to try this out. Unfortunately he didn’t make it down the hill once! In fact he didn’t even move a foot! Board does not move due to the bottom not being completely flat. We immediately went to our local sporting goods shop (Dicks Sporting Goods) and bought a graffiti board. It was about $20 more than this but it works and I have a happy 7 year old!
