I purchased this hat to have it custom monogrammed for work. I live and work in a beach town, amd this hat is extremely comfortable and breathable. I've even worn it on the golf course a few times. will buy again but not for hot sweaty summer days, this hat stinks after you sweat a lot in it, and it comes right back after washing. xl fits a little snug, but gave it a good stretch and it fits great. I usually wear xl or xxl in other hats
