  • 👍🏻👌🏼Look Awesome, Perform Even Better!!!👌🏼👍🏻
Size: 25" Color: Honeycomb Black
I bought these to replace a set of Tubbs that I've worn out over the last 10 years in anticipation of a trip to Drummond Island in Michigan's Upper Peninsula; There is about 2½' of snow on the trails. I am wearing a pair of size 13 Sorel Conquests [pictured] and the combo is amazing! These are VERY easy to adjust, size, and dial in on the first attempt! I never had to readjust a strap once in over 3 miles, which I find a common practice with other shoes, and the ratcheting clasps make it a painless breeze. The crampons are grippy on ice; When we went through the parking lot to the trailhead, I intentionally walked over 15' of black ice to test them without a slip. I weigh 185 lbs and am 5'10. I'm carrying a pack of about 20lbs. I purchased the 25" in white, and although these shoes kept me more buoyant than others, I found I was sinking more than I like... but that's an error on my part [@ 205 lbs, I'm right at the max for 25" on their chart] and may exchange these for the 30s- I'll finish the trip first then decide. These shoes are very lightweight and yet seem durable enough for hundreds of miles. The only part that could be a little more heavy duty is the kick-up heel support for inclines; It collapsed on me at one point, and I fear with repetition it could weaken the "cam" feature that holds it in place. But the support still proved very helpful on inclines compared to models without! I just wish there was more to it- a little more width and bulk for support perhaps, with a more semi-permanent means to stay put. The poles have two telescoping sections, each with graduated markings [in cm] corresponding to height I believe. I simply adjusted mine so my elbows were at natural angles. Only once did one of the sections collapse... I readjusted it and tightened it further [both sections tighten by turn] and never had another issue. Bottom line: these snowshoes, with all their high-end features, are one of the biggest value-for-the-price items I've come across on Amazon. ... show more

  • great
Size: 25" Color: Lake Blue
Great shoes for walking in the snow. The straps are a little long if you have smaller feet but not a major issue.

  • A Snow Day Treat!!
Size: 25" Color: Honeycomb Purple
I received my 25" purple snow shoes and was able to use them 4 times this year. The shipping was very slow, so I missed some great opportunity this year. I would have given a higher rating, if the manufacture sent an actual detailed adjustment and use guide. Once you figure everything out, the shoes are great. I am hoping the plastic bindings stay strong without breaking over repeated use. I am concerned the back heel strap is thinner than the other two straps. The length is also longer than needed and the extra length is difficult to secure beyond the midpoint of the heel. I do a lot of hikes and will plan to wear a pack. The pack and the Kamik boots will certainly add to my snow shoe's weight. I recommend you think about this when sizing your own selection. I did have difficulties figuring out my poles and they did collapse during very cold trips out in heavy snow in the woods. I have had fun through the initial challenges with these shoes and will review further with more use. If you plan to transport these shoes then put a towel in your vehicle for these to drip onto. ... show more

  • It's good but not perfect
Size: 21" Color: Black
I think if the material used is lighter and can be felt more comfortable, it will be perfect. With this one, it's still good enough.

  • Can't believe these are so highly rated
Size: 21" Color: Black
I ordered these after hours of searching for new snowshoes to replace my poor Chinooks which have started falling apart (and are no longer available; even though they're more cheaply made than I like). A few poor reviews I saw stated that the back strap was "a bit too long" and they had trouble fitting to their boots, but I thought, "That won't happen to me, I have big feet." (I'm 5'9" with size womens' size 9.5-10 feet and ~140lbs) Well, guess what. Not only are the back straps SUPER long and I can't tighten them down far enough for my size 10 boots; the entire harness itself is too far "back" on the snowshoe AND I can't get my foot up far enough to create a good balance for walking. My boot is so far back there's way more snowshoe ahead of my boot than behind; everyone who snowshoes knows this isn't the way a snowshoe is supposed to fit (I've been snowshoeing for 25 years). I literally made it 2 minutes down the trail tripping on the long fronts with the entire snowshoe slapping up against my foot with every step. I literally had to lift my foot super high (and awkward; not the way I walk in normal snowshoes at all) with each step so as not to trip on them. I took them off, brought them back to the house, and strapped on my cheap Chinook pair that're bandaided together and walked normally and safely—the way one should walk in snowshoes. Thinking it was maybe that pair of boots, I tried a different, bulkier pair (more for clunking around doing horse chores than heading out on the trail, but figured I'd try)...still to no avail—in fact, even with the ratchets all the way loose I couldn't get THIS boot up into the harness, either, and when I did the back strap was STILL so long I couldn't tighten it down (I'd need to remove the heel "pad" to be able to tighten it down properly and then the strap would slip, most likely). I am BEYOND frustrated with this pair of snowshoes, especially since it has such high ratings. At this point, I don't even want to try the bigger pair (I got the 21" since that's the weight range for me) because I can't imagine those are any better. ... show more

  • I had fun
Size: 25" Color: Red
This was my first time ever using snow shoes . So I have no idea how they should or not be . It did take me a while to figure out how to use the straps right . But once I looked at the diagram in the item description I figured it out. For a first time snow shoe experience they were nice and lightweight and mostly stayed on. Remember I did not have the straps on right when I went on my adventure but I learned after. I am looking forward to more adventures. And the poles were easy to use. ... show more

  • Excellent shoe for work or play
Size: 30" Color: Gray
I am a woman of substance and my husband is an average-sized guy. We both used these shoes all day while we were tapping the maple trees this spring, and they worked PERFECTLY! They were very simple to put on, and easy to get off. They stayed put on your feet and were just flexible enough to be workable. Normally I wear a semi-bearpaw traditional wooden snowshoe, and having these sporty little beasts was amazing. The 30" length was not too long. I was able to easily maneuver them over branches and fallen logs without falling on my face. The toe kicks up the right amount to keep you from catching a toe when you break through a crust. The cleats on the bottom are just enough to keep from sliding on packed surfaces without tripping you up. I absolutely love that they come with poles and a wonderful carrying case. I firmly recommend these as a general snow shoe. ... show more

  • Not sure I will keep these
Size: 25" Color: Honeycomb Black
Since we are in a pandemic, I thought snow shoes would be a great thing to try for exercise and fresh air. I agonized over which snow shoes would be best for me. I chose these because they are reasonably priced, have heel lifts, poles, carry bag and good reviews. (I am a beginner so I relied on recommendations of others.) They arrived yesterday and everything checked out except the rubber strap that goes around your heel. Other people have noted that it broke easily and I can see why. Not sure whether to keep these or return for a different pair. ... show more

  • Small issues but overall good
Size: 25" Color: Honeycomb Gray
Love the heel lift, but on one of the shoes, when I start walking downhill for a moment the heel lift goes back down without me putting it down. Also the trekking poles are nice, but one of them won't screw in/tighten if I have it set pretty short, which is annoying because I wanted to use them for more than just snow. Overall good purchase, maybe not worth what I paid but the cheapest I could find with the heel lift. Works for me! ... show more

  • Loving My Snowshoe Set!!!
Size: 25" Color: Red
This snowshoe set is perfect for me! I am new at snowshoeing, and this set is fabulous, just right for a beginner. All of the gear worked very well in the snow. The shoes are just right , not too wide and not to long. I was looking for shoes that would allow me to maneuver around the track in the park, and it was a great first workout! And having the poles allowed a great upper body workout as well! The poles are adjustable at the top and bottom for a variety of heights. Having the gaiters really did keep the snow out of my boots and pants and was a nice bonus in this package. A lot of sets I looked at did not include them and were more money. The carrying bag is also a nice bonus! Not only does it have straps to carry the gear by hand, but there are straps to carry the gear on your back as well. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Good snowshoe
My only issue with this snowshoe is that the upper back platform could have been rounded out just another 1/4". I will have my husband take his VERY sharp jack knife and shave a bit off. One of the teeth on the crampon 'clicked' the platform and made for a very noisy walk in the quiet woods. This may be an isolated incident so I would not let it stop anyone from buying these. That being said, this is a good snowshoe for trekking though snow in the woods. I have hiked minor hills and ridges but have not yet put them to the test of a high peak. I don't see why they would not do well! ... show more

  • Good Basic Snowshoe
I finally got around to testing these out. My wife and I went snowshoeing a few weekends ago for about two hours. These performed great, both in soft snow and icier conditions. In the soft snow they kept me from sinking too far and the metal cleat on the bottom kept me from slipping when traversing ice. The only thing I would like to see improved is the back strap. It held up fine but my foot seems to be too far back even with the back strap cinched all the way. I have a 10.5 size foot. This is why I only gave four stars. For the price though, these are fine. ... show more

  • Looks Good But.....
Good News First bc I'm an Optimist: It looks good..No, Great! It arrived within the 2-day Prime timing. This is for my adventure daughter's birthday and I think she will love it! Bad News: It was just delivered literally with the elongated box completely opened...taping tore open like someone went thru it! Everything looks intact, but it's upsetting and disturbing that my $75 gift is not REALLY brand new! Did whoever go thru the case where everything is located, too? Was it the UPS delivery guy? An Amazon worker who didn't package it well enough? It doesn't set well with me...despite this product probably being a 5-star rating!!! ... show more
