I needed a desk for my bedroom that wasn't too long and bulky. This one fit my needs. Love the color, not too warm or too cool of a color, just right. The top if the desk has a slight texture, doesn't seem like it's that easy rub off laminate, where, if you move your laptop or something around on it alot the color rubs off (like my son's desk) but we'll see. I used this desk to provide an additional workspace in a small room. It was easy to construct and has worked well for the purpose it was needed for. I would not put exceptionally heavy items on this, like a desktop computer, but it would still probably hold up fine.

The package was previously opened - it was supposedly a "used" item, but I think it was a "returned" item as it was defective. The joint one of the side legs swings on was bent. And the stabilizing foot on one of the side legs was shorter than the other side leg about 1/2 an inch, causing the table to wobble. I have a desk just like it already, not defective - which is how I know this one is defective. This was not usual. But seller might want to review returned product before trying to resell defective product. The major defect was a manufacturing defect. I will be buying the product from someone else as the seller was unresponsive. Willing to pay more so that the table doesn't wobble. If all the tables are returns, was this a batch of defective tables? Trying to return the table has been a nightmare. It seems that UPS and Amazon don't know now to pick it up at my address. I have been waiting 3 days, not been able to leave the house because the pick-up for return is just awful. Every other delivery service is able to drop things at my door or pick up packages upon request but NOT UPS with amazon labels? ... show more
