This is exactly as described. Please note that it will shrink slightly in the dryer. I don't like things tight on my waist and I felt that the waist was a tad uncomfortable after putting it in the dryer. It could also be all the cookies I'm eating. Anyways, the material is thin and see-through, but at the same time, it's on the thicker side, if that makes sense. I was surprised at how thick the top felt. It could be that the material isn't flat, but rather resembles seersucker, so that makes it feel thicker. But it is super cute and of good quality. The shorts are OG '90s wide-leg and almost look like a skirt. If you want a flowy shorts and top set, buy this. It also has a drawstring waist. I am 5'3 and 108 lbs and got the S. Unfortunately, it looks like the state I live in is due for a very hot spring and summer. We basically had two weeks of winter and that was it so I definitely wanted to start stocking up on some clothes that were lightweight. I purchased the largest size here and for reference I am 5 foot four, 188 pounds, size 12 on the top and 16 on the bottom. I have a broad, hourglass frame with large thighs. I have a very short tower so that affects how this looks on me versus on someone else. The shirt on top is very oversized, but the shorts fit perfectly. Because I’m so big on the bottom, I often have to size up to compensate for my hips. That’s fine though because I typically don’t wear tight fitted clothing for the spring or summer. You can always tuck this shirt in or tie it off in the front for a breezy look. The material feels very close to linen. But it’s not scratchy, which I appreciate. The shorts, up past my mid thigh, but that’s partially because my waist is so short, it starts up a little higher on my body than somebody else so it looks very short on me versus somebody else. I really love the sleeve length. It’s either too long or too short. If you want this to look less boxy, I recommend leaving it unbuttoned and wearing a tank top underneath, or buttoning it up, but belting it around the middle or tucking it into your shorts. The material is really nice. Soft to the touch, very light. Perfect summer nights at the beach BUT the color was really off. Ordered peach and it’s more like baby pink. It’s not as vivid in pictures but really pink ))) Returning this one. Will order some other color.
