My husband is 6'3" and has a true XL hospital bed. It is 84" long. I knew the difference of the 80" listed but figured it might be made up with with elastic underside. Well, it doesn't. I did put them on before washing them the first time since I ordered 2 fitted sheets. They bowed but the aide and I set on them and they seemed better. So we have washed them several times now. They barely fit on the top and bottom of the mattress but am making do. I would recommend looking for longer sheets if you need true XL fitted sheets ... show more

I never realized that there were actual fitted hospital bed sheets. They are 100% cotton and the elastic is stronger than elastic on regular twin sheets. Mom has been in a hospital bed at home for a few years and the bottom sheet comes off the corners every time we get her into or out of bed. I ordered a couple of sizes/types because I wasn't sure which would fit better - woven or knitted. This one - 36x80x9 100% cotton was the best of the 3 I tried. Really like the sheets at first fit really good after second time washing them even though tumbled in dryer not even on the way dry and air-dried them the rest of the way they still shrunk so much that then they did not fit anymore good quality but too much shrinkage then did not fit is my only complaint with them had to send them back useless after shrinking so much could not even fit on bed ... show more

The sheets are for my mother who is in hospice here at home. Couldn't find any commercial locations that sold sheets this size. The medical supply stores were triple the price. Well worth the amount, I purchased two more sets that arrive tomorrow.

I order two Twin-XL fitted bottom sheets. One was of good quality... thickness, color and softness. The other was of poorer quality... thin, not as white with some dark threads and soft. Very pleased with one but quite disappointed with the other for the price. Wish I could give a better review. :-(

High quality cotton sheets that are nice and thick and soft .. Fit medical bed perfect. I wish that I had ordered extra deep pocket as the bed I have has an air mattress and I need to rotate and reposition my mom. It sometime pulls the corners off.
