Not bad for the price, this cute summer sweatshirt is a good FP dupe. The fabric feels like cotton, but sadly is a poly/rayon blend so wash and dry with care (basically, don’t even think about putting it in the dryer and it WILL pill). Terry interior and v exterior—it seems that some reviewers received items with different quality fabric, but this is decent. Quality shows a high pressure, low pay work environment as the stripes don’t line up, some of the stitching is wonky, but not in a terribly noticeable way. Loose threads galore so prepare to do some trimming. I’m a solid size small (5’2”) and got a medium because it wanted it slightly oversized, but the sleeves and overall length are good. I can wear it with shorts as pictured and it will cover my butt in leggings.

I have gotten so many compliments wearing this - love the oversize fit - purchased a S and usually wear M. Cute with denim shorts or jeans. Light enough for summer nights or fall days. Beautiful color.

First off, the quality of this was better than I expected and it was really comfortable. Nice and thick, but not too thick that I couldn’t wear it in the spring or early summer. The fit is what was kind off on this one I got a size up from my usual size which I normally do with sweaters and sweatshirts but this was just overly long and straight at the bottom (if that makes sense- I didn’t get a photo before returning). I’m curvy so I think it just feel weirdly on my hips and the neckline sat a little off on me. It would probably be better on someone with a smaller frame than mine.

I’m in a medium. I normally wear a S or sz 4. Sleeves are not as bulky as FP, i think this will shrink when washed, and not a fan of the huge triangle at the neck. Also the neck seems wide so if I size up to a large I think the neck opening would not work. Love the color and the lightweight shirt material. Definitely not a sweatshirt material. Probably will return just doesn’t have the oversized look I was hoping for…but overall quality of trim and material good.

Ordered XL to ensure a baggy fit like pictured and it was not. I usually purchase l for a comfy fit, so I thought sizing up would work well. The xl fit as I’d expect the l to fit. So size up twice to achieve the look from photo. Will review that purchase when it arrives. Shipping takes a long while. Update: returned and bought it in a similar color scheme at a larger size, a waaaay larger size I’d normally get and it is still not the desired “slouchy” fit as pictured. Sizing is clearly not specifically measured and ensured. It’s a guessing game. I can typically order a L for an “oversized” fit. So to have an XXL fit still not feel right is bonkers. It’s also sorta thin and cheap. Will be cute to have as a throw on layer.

So this is my new favorite sweatshirt. I got the red stripes, but whatever, NOT RED, it’s a candy pink with kelly green trim - IT’S SO CUTE. I’m 5’9”, about 130 pounds, and the XL is a great oversized fit for me. I probably won’t put it in the dryer because the sleeves are my preferred length right now. The material is nice enough - it’s not the most luxurious, but it’s not that cheesy, shiny stuff, either. Looks like a sweatshirt should look. This is the perfect thing to throw over your swimsuit at the beach as the sun is setting and the air feels cooler, when you want something lightweight but enough to cut the breeze. Well, this is it. It’s currently 800 degrees where I live, but I’ll be wearing this in super air conditioned places as my summer a/c layer. No clue how it compares to the Free People sweatshirt, but how about we love this sweatshirt for who it really is, not for who we might want it to be. And I do. I do love this sweatshirt. Shama lama ding dong. (High five if you caught the Sandler references)
