We purchased this seat for my son when he started to not want to be laying down or on his tummy all the time. This is the perfect seat for babies as long as they have good head control. My son loved sitting in here because he was able to see what was going on and have a different perspective. He loved playing with the little toys that came with it. This easily kept him happy for 15-30 minutes (which is something to celebrate when you have a baby). I love it because the fabric can easily be removed and washed. My son spit up a lot, so this was very helpful. I also like that this seat was a better option for his hip health.     • Workstation, UFO or high chair?
We love this product as a place for our 4 month (now 5 month) old baby to sit. He is on the big side at almost 18 pounds now and I'll admit getting him out isn't always easy, but he never cries when it takes some extra effort to get him out. The toys still amuse him and oddly enough it's become my top star for feeding time. We started giving solids at 4 months per our pediatrician (and based on our own research). He had great head control but was not able to sit unsupported, so a high chair didn't really work. In comes the Sit Me Up - you remove the toy tray or even the whole tray, it makes a perfect feeding chair for those early months of feeding. It also gives baby a place to hang out that doesn't contribute to the dreaded flat head. Also crazy easy to clean, we've put it in the washer and dryer 3 or 4 times already with no problems. ... show more

My son Loves sitting in his Penquin chair! He's a little short right now, but he will grow into it! He loves playing with the fins, the tray is easily removable, and it folds nicely for storage under the crib! I specifically got this one to fold away bc I live in such a small apartment, so this was a BIG plus! I can feed him in it and he can comfortably look up at the tv from the floor bc the penguin backing comes up higher for his head to be supported on. The things I didn't like: It's a bit hard to get him in and out cuz the leg holes are a bit too small. I have to step on it and wiggle him out. The toys that go on the tray pop off WAY too easily! We have to tape it down to the tray so he doesn't remove the toys which he loves to out in his mouth. But when they are properly on the tray, they're too far for him to put in his mouth. The little teether just barely makes it to his mouth. My fear is that when he grows taller, enough to teach these things, he won't be able to fit through the leg holes. ... show more

We started sitting my daughter in this when she was about 3 months old and we still use it for snack time occasionally at almost 11 months. She even still loves playing with the toys on it. I love that the toys just pop out and a tray is underneath that is perfect for snacks! It fold downs so you can slide it under furniture to get it out of the way. It's been easy to clean as most food has just wiped off with a damp cloth. It was a bit big for her when we first got it at 3 months, but she grew into it quick. I’m so glad I ordered this chair for my little one!! I ordered this for my 4 month old and he loves it. I was a little worried that he would be too big for it but he has plenty of room to grow. The chair folds away easily making it easy to store. The fabric can easily be wiped down when needed. And can easily be removed to throw into the wash.
