My 4-year-old granddaughter asked for this early in the Christmas season, but as the holiday approached seemed to lose enthusiasm for it. I worried a bit, as I'd already bought it for her, but needn't have -- she loved it! As I opened the box to put it together (VERY easy), she ran to get her Loving Family RV and soon the Loving Family cowgirl ("Farmer!" insisted my granddaughter) was pulling the trailer to the horse show. The trailer includes a built-in tack box, in which we discovered a blanket, trophy, and blue ribbon. The side panels immediately came off the trailer and turned into jumps so Beauty (by now named) could win the ribbon and trophy. The ribbon fastens onto the side of the trailer just like you'd see at a real horse show. (Incidentally, the blanket does not stay on and needs a fastener of some kind added. We used a rubber band; it would be nice if Fisher Price had thought to attach a bit of elastic.) Throughout Christmas Day, she continued to come back to the horse and trailer. At one point, it was galloping across the kitchen floor; at another, they had gone camping and, presumably, trail riding. Having been a horse-mad youngster myself, I'm hoping this is the start of the same for my granddaughter; we'll have so much fun!

My daughter was overjoyed to get this for her 4th birthday. The only problem is the sides of the trailer, which can also be taken off to be used as a fence, don't stay on very well. She is constantly having to put them back on and the horse will fall out when she is driving it around, leading to some frustration. Other than that, it is a very cute set and works nicely with the loving family SUV that we have.

Great product. My daughter wanted this for her 4th birthday and she was very pleased with it! She plays with it often. She had the mobile camper already so it connected well to it. It was easy to put together.

Cute pony and figure that goes with the set. Same quality as the other loving family sets. Too bad Fisher-Price doesn't make these anymore. The imitation ones just aren't anywhere near as good.

The fence around the trailer keeps falling off, but the rest of it is cute.

Great quality. The rider sits on the horse very well without falling off too many times. My 3 year old daughter loves that she can take the saddle on and off, too. The only complaint is that the sides of the trailer fall off very easily while my daughter is playing with it. I really wouldn't have minded if the toy was made so that the sides stayed on permanently. My daughter gets frustrated with that aspect of it and I am not sure why they are removable. But this does not take away from the excellent quality of the product and the enjoyment my daughter gets from playing with it.
