This is the cutest toy ever! My nephew loves it. How nice to have a Black pilot. My father is a pilot so my family is into planes. I got my niece the Barbie plane with a Black pilot and now I have this for my 3 year old nephew. The plane makes sounds when you press the button and he loves to fly it around. It was a toy that was supposed to stay at grandparent's house for him to play with when he comes, but he had to take it home. He would not let it go. I work in pediatrics and I always select light-up or musical cause-and-effect toys for preschool, and kids around 3 or 4 can begin to utilize pretend play toys such as this plane. He doesn't care so much about the characters such as the pilot and passenger now, but he will grow those skills later. Also, this is a good brand for durability as my nephew is very rambunctious and this brand has stood the test of time. I had all these items from this brand when I was little. The only thing that has changed is the little people are bigger and the actual vehicles are smaller. We have the little people bus and barn, but where's the school? Little people should bring back all the old stuff because everyone wants their favorite toys for their kids!

My grandkids like this toy but it is loud. The 1-3 year olds play with it most. The quality is excellent, very well made. Get thrown around plenty and it stands the test of time. The color remains new looking. Great for their imaginations to dream of flying.
