I got these to use primarily for camp fires. I'm most interested in the tongs and the bellows. If you haven't used a bellows before, it's basically a long tube / straw that allows you to blow air right into the center of the fire or wherever you need more air. This kit comes with a bellows built into the fire poke stick. You can see the center of the handle is hollow in my picture. This is better quality than I thought. It's heavy and feels durable. I really like that the tools easily unscrew which makes them much easier to take camping as they will fit into a small container or stuff sack. This also made it possible to ship in a small box. With all the tools on the stand, it's about 30" tall. They sit well in the stand and I have no worries that the tools might slip or fall out. I'm impressed. Again, I didn't realize they screw apart and get so small. I'm super stoked about that!

Not so sure about the longevity of this fireplace set. The rods are hollow and screw together to assemble into what one might otherwise expect to find as a solid iron casting. I do not expect this set to last as long as the one it is meant to replace. My old ones were at least 50 years used. What I see available these days, and what I remember to be a basic construct are not at all the same thing. At my age, even if they last half as long as the old ones, they will out-last me! They are functional and will perform as needed as long as I need for them to. The broom bristles melt with heat, so use it for cooled ashes only.

The box was small and I worried they were going to be short. I was so very wrong. The tools come disassembled, and the only thing needed is to screw them together. No need to guess or determine what piece goes with what since they are packaged together. The holder was not packed together, although it was quite clear three base piece and top that holds the tools. Nicely painted black, no scratches or dings and they will hold up well. Very happy with the tool set. I like that it is a bit compact and won't take up a lot of space. Great value product.

This is an awesome fireplace set. My old one was just about destroyed. The broom was melted like 8 years ago, the shovel wouldn't hold it's shape anymore, the log grabber broke like 10 years ago. Only the poker was still in decent shape. It was definitely time to upgrade!! These arrived nicely packaged. Each tool was packaged separately with the accompanying handle. We just had to pull each one out of the bag and screw the two pieces together. Easy peasy. The stand was just the base, two rods, the tool holder, and a handle to hold the tool holder on. Very well built. For the price, I think this is a good value. The whole set is really well built, The log Turner is actually pretty heavy duty and I think it'll hold up really well. That was the first thing to go on my last set. The shovel is sturdy and doesn't bend. Poker is great. I'm very happy with this set. It's not too heavy either. Well built, but still manageable weight. Works great! Easy to clean up and put away. It's a winner in my book.

This fireplace tool set looks nice and works well as a decorative piece, but it leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to durability. It’s extremely lightweight—so much so that my robot vacuum easily moves it out of place, which tells you a lot about the build quality. It didn’t melt or warp after one fire, which is a plus, but I honestly don’t have high hopes for how it will hold up with regular use. It’s definitely not made of heavy-duty wrought iron like some other sets I’ve owned. For the price, I expected a bit more substance. If you’re just looking for something to complete the look of your fireplace, this might work. But if you plan to use your tools frequently, I’d recommend investing in something sturdier.

This fireplace tool set from Tomerson is great, and it’s good, solid quality. Each tool comes in a few pieces, and the handles need to be screwed into place. At first, I thought these connection points might make them feel flimsy, but I haven’t noticed any instability at all. Everything fits together tightly and stays put. The entire set, including the stand, took less than five minutes to assemble, and it now sits next to our fireplace looking both functional and attractive. The overall design is clean and classic, with a matte black finish that blends easily with our fireplace and probably every fireplace. The tools are a nice weight, and the length is just right to safely reach into the fire to do what’s needed. The stand is compact and holds everything neatly in place without taking up too much space. All in all, this set is sturdy enough for everyday use, looks great in the room, and helps us deal with out our fire safely and efficiently. And for the price, it’s a great value. I’d recommend it.
