These dragon book ends look great and the artistry is well done. I have a lot of books with the word "dragon" in the title. I'm going to use these to display those books at our annual Dragon Day Festival. Both of the Dragons had a small chip in them when they arrived. They were packaged well, so the damage was not done in transit. Also, if it had been done during delivery, the chips would have been inside and they weren't. So, that speaks to the fault having been prior to being boxed up and quality control did not catch it. The Dragons are painted well except for the part where the fire is coming out of their mouth. It isn't filled in completely, so some white shows. I'm going to have to get some paints to touch up the chip and the mouth. I do like the pair and I'm sure I'll get a lot of compliments on them. However, I have to give it a 4 because of the extra trouble I'm going to have to go through to paint them in a couple spots.

The first set of these bookends I ordered came with one with a wing completely broken off. The replacement is intact, but all 4 wings are very loose. The paint job on one bookend is not great. The other looks good. The one with the bad paint job also has a lot of pock marks in the resin. The bookends are a decent weight to hold books up. They look ok from a distance. I think these could be pretty nice, but the quality control is lacking.

Not only are these book ends really cool, the details are phenomenal! But they are great quality! Very heavy duty! Definitely sturdy and strong! The colors are vibrant and the details are just terrific! The wings are the only thing on them that are the highest of quality so I suggest not picking them up by the wings. But they really are great and definitely a statement piece!

I like them, and they will look great on my bookshelf but, I'm a little disappointed about one missing a wing(could not find in the box) and the multitude of paint defects on them. The one with the missing wing can just face the other way and still function, but it would have been nice to receive one intact.

These are nice, heavy, VERY ORANGE book ends. They're sturdy, though. Well balanced and heavy enough to hold big books in place. Definitely eye-catching. They're the first thing I notice when I walk into the room. The dragons are well defined and the walls of fire are...well...orange. Still, they'd make a nice gift for any dragon enthusiast, and a good addition to a current collection. They came securely packaged to prevent any damage during shipping and arrived quickly.

The dragon book ends are amazing! They look exactly like the pictures in the product description. The wings and fire have details that make it look stunning from a few feet away. The bookends weigh around five to seven pounds. They easily hold up a line of my books on my wooden shelf. The bookends are pretty and very effectively hold my books. They'd make a great gift for a reader who enjoys fantasy novels and physical books.
