  • Great screen, good quality for the money
Digital Storage Capacity: 32 GB Offer Type: Lockscreen Ad-Supported Color: Black Style: Fire HD 10
The keyboard case is pretty nice. It basically turns into a nice little laptop. Easy to use and responds quickly without lag. The memory expansion option is nice. I’m happy with it. The split screen feature is great if you want to have music or tv on the side while you read news or surf the web. Update: I’ve had it for around 3 weeks now. I still really like it. It works well as my entertainment laptop. It handles email, streaming services, Kindle and Audible books, Amazon photos, etc. really well. I added the 256GB memory chip. It isn’t a work laptop replacement but is great for entertainment/home use where you’re tired of using your smartphone and want a bigger screen but not a full blown laptop. That’s what this is perfect for in my opinion. I really like the keyboard and find it handy as a good quality storage case in addition to being a keyboard. Very happy with it and would buy again. Update August 12, 2021: I've had this for 2.5 months now and still really enjoy it. I think it is perfect for what I wanted - an entertainment machine. I still wouldn't recommend it as a work laptop replacement, but if you're looking for something to read news, watch TV in a portable way with hot spot on your phone, review email, surf the web, and do your internet shopping - I'd say get this with the keyboard case. For the money, this is as good as you'll get on the market today. Update April 11, 2022: The tablet is still great for my purposes. The add-on keyboard for it had keys that stopped working, so I wouldn't recommend that any longer. I'd buy the tablet itself again for sure though. Haven't had any problems after almost a year and it is still zippy. Still love the HD screen, too. ... show more

  • A Good Bundle Deal & A Good Keyboard . . . .
Digital Storage Capacity: 32 GB Offer Type: Lockscreen Ad-Supported Color: Black Style: with Keyboard-Case & Microsoft 365
None of the reviews here at the time are showing 'Verified Purchase" because the pre-order was split into three parts: 1) The new fire you chose 2) The "All New, Made for Amazon Bluetooth Keyboard with detachable case in Black, for Fire HD 10 (11th Generation) 2021 release" 3) Microsoft 365 Personal | 12-Month Subscription, 1 person. So, do go look at those pages if you want to see more reviews. 1) The Fire I got was the "All-new Fire HD 10 tablet, 10.1", 1080p Full HD, 32 GB, latest model (2021 release), Denim". It's very similar to the last two HD 10 releases, except it's faster. It shuts down faster, too, but I have to hold down the start button longer to get it to start up. The port locations aren't exactly the same as the 2017 and 2019 models, so my MoKo cases for them don't have the cut-outs right for the 2021 model. The on button and the charge port are partially covered. The 2021 model uses the same charging cord as the 2019 model, not the 2017 model, and a charging cord and 9 watt charger are of course included. The speakers of the 2021 model don't sound any different to me, and it's best to play music from Fires on external speakers anyway. I never use the cameras, so can't comment on those on any models. I bought a Fire with ads, but they are only on the lock screen, not pop-up types. For me, the 32 GB was fine, too, because I never need extra space, and, if I did, would just insert a memory card. One difference I truly appreciate about the 2021 model, though, is there are none of my Kindle books showing on my home page, which makes me so glad. The last software update for the 2017 and 2019 models put books from my library on the page, and you can either hide them or remove the download. Other books will replace them, though, if you hide them. If I wanted to see my Kindle books I would just tap the Kindle app. I don't need to see them on my home page. 2) The keyboard and keyboard case I really like! With the Fire attached, it weighs 2 pounds, 6.4 ounces, so it does add quite a bit of weight to the Fire HD 10, but it turns it into a little Chromebook. In my opinion, it types and feels just like a laptop keyboard except it has no touch pad. (I'm going to investigate Bluetooth mice, but now just use my stylus and the touch screen to do mouse tasks.) It makes a nice light clicking sound when you type and doesn't skip any letters or numbers; although sometimes when typing a sentence starting with the letter "I", it will make a small "i" instead of a capital one. The Fire is held in a frame that attaches magnetically to the keyboard. It quickly attaches and detaches. I've held it over cushioning and tried to see if I could shake the Fire off the keyboard, but it did not fall off. The Fire has a good tilt on the table, but not on the laptop stand I tried. Also, it can't be flipped to make a 2-in-1 type of laptop. The keyboard connected easily to my Fire by Bluetooth, comes with a charging cord, but not a charger. I'm using a 9 watt Fire charger. If you want to see more reviews on the keyboard, do go to the keyboard page listed in the first paragraph of this review. 3) The 1-year Microsoft 365 Personal subscription is one of the reasons I got the bundle deal. I've been subscribing to it monthly, and it will cost a lot less with this subscription. My monthly subscription was up for renewal last week, so I cancelled it and waited until I got a letter from Microsoft saying it had expired. I then went to my "Memberships & Subscriptions" page here at Amazon and downloaded it on my desktop. Well, it was already downloaded, but doing so activated it again. I had no problems whatsoever with activation. To get Office on my Fire, I just had to sign in at Microsoft using my Microsoft e-mail and password, not my Amazon e-mail and password. Everything is there on the Fire, but I don't know if everything will work on the Fire as it does on a desktop or laptop. I only use Word to create documents, and that works fine on the Fire. I like having the subscription through Amazon, too, because you can go to your Memberships & Subscriptions page and turn on or off auto-renew or cancel next year. You don't have to go to Microsoft to do so. Well, that's a brief summary of everything. I'm happy with the bundle deal, especially since I also got a $30 gift card for a trade-in of my 2019 Fire HD 10 and applied it to the deal, making what I paid even less. P.S. Seeing all the questions about printing capabilities, I decided to print a document from Office using the HD 10, something I've never done before. First, I turned on my TS8320 Canon printer, than I turned on my new HD 10 and the keyboard, chose a document in Office and chose print. It asked if I wanted to save it as a PDF or print. I chose print and chose "all printers". Up came my TS8320 instantly as a choice, I pressed the print symbol, and it printed faster than it does from my desktop! I guess the printer was instantly there as a choice since it is part of my wireless network. I definitely didn't do any Bluetooth stuff to connect the HD 10 to the printer. This is the first time I have ever tried to print anything with a Fire. ... show more

  • I am very pleased with this new Fire!!
Digital Storage Capacity: 64 GB Offer Type: Lockscreen Ad-Supported Color: Lavender Style: Fire HD 10
My older Fire tablet came up missing while having repairs done, which was really upsetting. My older Fire was around 15 years old. I didn’t think it would be very different with the newest version but I am very pleased. It is faster and seems to be very responsive. I am very pleased with the quality of this Fire tablet so far. I will follow up with an update when I have had it for a while. 9/13/21 This is the best Fire tablet I have purchased (I have had 5.) The battery life has been really fantastic. I bought a lighting cable and was surprised how quickly it charged up. I am very happy with my Fire. ... show more

  • It's the perfect little combo
Digital Storage Capacity: 32 GB Offer Type: Lockscreen Ad-Supported Color: Olive Style: with Keyboard-Case & Microsoft 365
I'm in love! I wanted something that I could use in quite moments when I didn't want my full laptop. I have used it in the evening and mornings when I want to check my email or finish writing a proposal. It's compact enough that I can type with one hand and the voice controls are amazing. I also love being able to taking notes on my kindle books as I do research and now I can easily put them in OneNote. I have an iPad with a keyboard case as well, but this is just a little easier to use for things like watching a TV show while I work on something. Plus it is lighter weight. The keyboard weighs a lot more than I thought it would, but the fire is lighter. I would 10/10 recommend this for anyone who just wants to curl up in a cozy spot and get a bit of work done. I also relealize that it is excessive to have an iPad Pro, Mircosoft Surface Pro and a Fire, but the Fire was well worth the money. Its as if my iPad and Surface had a baby. I would suggest the fire as a great alternative to the ipad if you are not doing anything that reqires a lot of processing power. I would also recomend it as a way less expensive option to the Surface if you aren't going to game and do a bunch of annotations. I do wish it had a smart pen and a way to house it with case. ... show more
