The final product is great looking and appears to be working just fine. However, the assembly was challenging a couple of times. First, I don’t know who has the hand strength to hand screw every screw in the entire unit, especially the larger screws, but I needed to use a drill after getting cramps in my hand from trying to assemble it entirely by hand. Second, there was confusion in the instructions about halfway where there appears to be a missing part but it’s instructing you to place something 10cm high under the piece to keep it level. Finally, there were missing pre-drilled holes for the dowels and for some of the final screws. The drill resolved that problem but would never have worked hand screwing it. Pretty easy to put together solo, did it in roughly an hour and a half. Instructions were easy to follow, but just be aware these are picture only instructions. If you have a hard time with that and deciphering images, you may need additional assistance with assembly. My only “complaint” is the wood color pictured is NOT what I received. Not that I got the wrong item, I did confirm what arrived is correct, just the tone shown online is way lighter to the darker more orange tone that it actually is. A little upset with that since now the desk is far off from the other wood tones I have, but I’ll live with it. I needed to downsize my desk and this sits perfectly in the corner of my bedroom. We had trouble following the instructions and you may find it easier to follow the video on the Amazon page. Otherwise, the desk is all put together and I've been using it for the past 2.5 weeks. Couldn't be happier.
