First of all, I hardly ever write reviews, especially not with photos attached. Second, I’ve been working at desk jobs for about 7 years now, the last 2 years remote at home, and this is my first time with a standing desk. Immediately I love it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I already can tell that when I want to put on music or look up something quickly, I am going to stand instead of sit. I also purchased a walking treadmill since walking is much more natural than standing still, and plan to use that with this once it arrives. The set up was so easy, literally just screwing on the keyboard piece with 12 screws, 3 per attachment corner. The gliding is smooth. My camera, mounted on my monitor, does not shake with I type or move the mouse. I cannot recommend this enough, it looks great and works great. I got the 34” size, and my monitor is 32” curved and wide. My desk is 60” long and 30” deep which still left room behind and in front of the standing desk converter. I used to have enough space lengthwise for my monitor, laptop stacking stand, and two speakers. With this set up I needed to move the speakers behind the monitor, which because of how deep it is was not an issue at all and actually freed up more of the left side. One small note is that the back of the stand does curve inward for hiding cables, and for my monitor I needed to let it hang off the back about 1/2 inch so it wasn’t right up in my face, and it’s completely sturdy how I set it. Just something to keep in mind if your monitor stand is deep, and your desk is deep, you may need to upgrade a size so that your monitor is far enough from your face while still keeping the keyboard forward enough to comfortably type. ... show more

Easy to put together. I did it by myself a 68 yo old lady. It doesn’t have a riser or a pull out drawer like a couple of the reviews mentioned. I reported those reviews because they are not for this desk. The desk moves up and down smoothly. I wish it was bigger. My laptop and monitor fit nicely but with the printer there isn’t enough room to have a place for the thing that holds my mail. The desk top comes in two pieces that have to be screwed together. I would have preferred it in one piece. But overall for the price I’m happy with it. ... show more

I needed a compact riser for a small space I wanted to turn into a standing station. This one is exactly as described and I find the product to be sturdy and the hydraulic riser to work really well. My only complaint is that the lower shelf for the keyboard comes out quite far and can’t be moved in/out, but you can also completely remove this piece and use the riser without it. I personally find it challenging to stand comfortably with this small shelf attached. ... show more

I’m not a fan of assembling furniture on my own. I usually recruit my husband for such tasks but I was mad at him and decided to take a stab at it myself (we’ve all been there, right?). Thankfully there isn’t a ton of assembly involved and it was easy to figure out what went where and screw everything into place. It didn’t take me long at all to fully assemble and if I can do it then anyone can. As for the stand itself, I’m pleasantly surprised with how sleek and sturdy it is. It looks great in my office and I immediately noticed my improved posture now that I can use my laptop at the right height. I imagine that this will help with the back aches that I’ve been experiencing from hunching over all day. The stand is easy to raise and there’s some power to it there so be prepared to offer some counter resistance. I do have to lean in and put some weight onto the stand to lower it. I like that you can lock it at any height that you want, as I’ve had other stands in the past with only one height option for standing. My other home office equipment hasn’t arrived yet (an additional monitor and wireless keyboard) but I feel optimistic that this stand will be able to support a second screen in addition to my laptop.
