  • Solid bipod at a solid price
Does exactly what it should and installation is a piece of cake. Solidly built and a really good value at this price. One thing worth noting -- depending on your rifle you might run into some fitment quirks, so keep that in mind. That said, no issues on my end and I'd recommend it without hesitation. ... show more

  • Well built, installs securely
I installed this on a Savage Mark II 22LR using the sling mount adapter, it is secure and stable. The build quality is good and it works as it should, excellent value for the money. Not much height adjustment but it is as the description states and works fine on the shooting bench. There is a bit of play with the legs locked in the down position but it is not noticeable for me when shooting. The legs are spring loaded and snap out to extend when you loosen the collar, solid when the collar is tight. Based on the one I received I recommend this bipod. Had it for a year now and it's held up well, the front to back play in the legs is the only issue I have with it. I push the rifle forward when I shoot to eliminate the play before the shot, likely upgrade at some point. ... show more

  • Functions well enough, but required modification
The swivel-mount was a little bit difficult to install, which could at least partially be blamed on the small swivel stud on my rifle. I had to unscrew mine 1 turn in order to get the adapter on. The screw that attaches to the rifle's existing swivel mount has also a smooth head, and can only be hand/wrench tightened, despite the picture in the instructions. Perhaps I just got a blank. I'd give it a pass there, but upon trying to install the swivel on the bipod's swivel mount, I found the hole was too small for any swivel I've seen, less than 1/8", so I bored it out to 9/64", and it works. Once you get the swivel mount on, the legs screw solidly into the tiny picatinny rail on the mount. You could probably use the mount for a flashlight or laser as well if not using the legs. I thought the tiny spring extensions were silly at first; but they're actually perfect for uneven terrain, in hindsight. The option for more height would be nice, but isn't entirely necessary. The way it sits folded there is still enough room to grip the stock, but it doesn't stick out obnoxiously. I would share a photo, but all of my reviews with photos of rifles recently have been rejected. I considered the barrel mount, but I suspect it would mar the barrel, as there is no protective covering on the metal. A small strip of high-temp silicone would make it a lot more usable, I'd think. Overall, value-wise I think it's decent, and if you're installing this, you're probably a relatively handy person, but be prepared to do some minor modifications if you're using anything but the picatinny/weaver mount. ... show more

  • Simplicity... Simplicity...
After more than one failed attempt at finding a bipod that can hold my rifle, the last 2 cost more than I wanted to pay, but I was left thinking that was the only way I would ever find a solid pod that wouldn't ultimately fail. This may not be what everyone is looking for in a bipod, but I have only come to dislike features like: tilt, pan, rotate and even extend as far as some legs do. Mostly due to the lock bolts for most of these would either not hold if tightened down or would never keep the appropriate tightness which is needed to utilize these features. Usually, I would find myself needing to support the very thing I had installed on my rifle to do the supporting. I should note, the extension on these legs (and this is something I'm actually fine with) are fully extended in the photo I've attached. I use them only when uneven ground prevents the two legs from sitting in a fashion needed to keep my rifle level. To refer to these as extendable legs would be very misleading. They are more like level adjustments because a half inch is hardly extending anything. That being said these bipods are so simple! They come with everything you need to attach to a rifle which only has the sling nut on the foregrip or even a barrel mount (if you're into that kind of stuff). Each leg has a spring loaded lever which is super easy to unlock which locks again once the legs are swung down into position. That's it! No massive chuck of metal attached to absurdly complicated springs and bolts making for an unnecessary weight added to something you wish to be as light as possible. Just click em down, sight in and enjoy a solid platform that is as reliable as everything else mounted on your rifle. Safe shooting and keep on sending it! ... show more

  • Works for the money
No missing parts which is nice. Okay value for the money. Appearance is decent. Lacks in functionality, the legs do not adjust more than 1/2” or so. Easy to use and mount.

  • Good Quality/Needs Longer Clamp Bolts
Because I'm using a GAMO Wildcat Whisper .22 cal Air Rifle (break barrel) and the end of the barrel nearest the trigger gradually increases in circumference as it travels towards the opposite end of the barrel, I have to utilize the body's clamp attachment. Unfortunately, the clamp bolts they provide with the attachment (10-32 x 1.25) are not long enough to use with my rifle. Then again, they did specifically state that it let's designed and sold to fit standard sized barrels and my rifles barrel is above standard size. This is just a PSA to anybody browsing Bipods for GAMO Air Rifles. This product will not work on your GAMO Wildcat Whisper without additional DIY steps or additional (longer) clamp bolts. I still recommend this product over all the other Bipods I've seen for Air Rifles as every other bipod I viewed had reviews stating they had issues with the bipod "walking/climbing the barrel." ... show more

  • Definite buy and easy mounting
Nice setup. Mounts easily to my PCP and even comes with an adapter so that I can interchange it between other tools. Price is right. Well constructed. When folded away it sits snugly. Could be a little taller at full extension but meets my requirement.

  • Good quality Bipod for the price
So far this Bipod is pretty good and made pretty well. It is made of metal and looks pretty good in person. I will say the only issue Ive noticed is just a little bit of rubber on the side of the feet sticking out which I show on the video but it literally isnt a problem. If I wanted it gone I could just snip it off. Both legs lock into place without them falling down or feeling cheap, so I would say it was worth the money. ... show more
