The fabric doesn't breathe. Do not wear this on a hot or humid day, you'll be very uncomfortable. The dress itself has a very nice and flattering fit. If you have a chest size larger than a D you'll need an XXL. The band under the breasts is pretty tight and hard to get over your chest. XL fits about a size 16/18 and D size breasts. If you're bordering 18/20 then get an XXL. It's not see through, there are no pockets, and for the price it's a good quality, but again it doesn't breathe. So, wear on a cooler day. ... show more

This summer dress looks and feels well made. The print and colors are beautiful, and the fabric is soft, cool and comfortable. I usually wear a size 6 so I ordered the small size and it fits perfectly.

    • Definitely not empire waist, and no pockets.

This is a very plain black dress. It does have the wrap bodice but it is not an empire waist. It’s sits more at the natural waist. When worn that way, it shows every lump and bump. I’m short on time so I will pull it up to a true empire waist and add a belt. This is much more flattering. The sleeves are not as long as shown in the picture and not quite as flattering as one would hope. Honestly, I think it’s the exact same dress you can get for $10 less under several other name brands. If I weren’t leaving for my trip tomorrow, I would either return this or use it as a beach cover-up. Several reviews mentioned pockets, but at least in the black dress there are no pockets.
