EaseHome's "Female Dress Form Mannequin Torso,Height Adjustable Mannequin Stand, Realistic Model Display Body Stand Metall Base Clothing Forms, Beige," makes for a pretty good starter mannequin for small business clothing store and tailoring shop to display their “For Sale” clothing and accessories as well as their model items. It is pretty well-made and lightweight. However, this isn't the most durable and this isn't the most sturdy either, as I feel like I have to be very careful every step of the way at handling it. Other than that, for the price, which is pretty reasonable, this is worth taking a look at.

I sell clothing online and for items where I can't locate a brand photo, I prefer to take my shots on a dress form so buyers get an idea of what the clothing will actually look like on a body. I got this one to replace one I have that's been moved three times and is stained and no longer in good shape. The actual dress form portion of this one was just like the one that I had. First, the color of the form is not beige, but white. The body is made from a very lightweight styrofoam covered in fabric. It's not particularly durable, but it gets the job done. You just have to be careful not to dent it or rip it. The material covering does make it hard to dress the mannequin, because unlike hard plastic, the clothes just don't glide over the surface. You have to really pull sleeves and drag necklines to get them on properly. Also, please note that this form is a US size 2. If your clothing is much larger than that, it may not work well for some items. You'll need to use clips to make it fit or look ok for photos. In terms of value, what you're paying for here is the base, which is extremely sturdy and high quality. The metal base piece is hea-vy. It's a mirrored gold that comes fully wrapped to avoid scratches. The posts are metal and sturdy as well which is a big step up from my prior one which was just cheap painted wood. My last one could have gotten knocked over if you looked at it wrong, but there's no way you're accidentally knocking this one over. That's why it's even more curious to me that they made the base so heavy and strong, but the body form itself is very cheap. People who want high quality are going to pay more for a hard plastic form that's easier to dress and people who just want a dress form are going to get the cheap styrofoam body with the cheap plastic or wood base... They're not going to spend the money for this nice one. I really wish they would have made the actual form a bit more durable, but it's not bad. It's an upgrade from what I have and will take nice photos.

Very easy to assemble. Very lightweight. This is made up of heavy-duty styrofoam. The kind coolers are made out of or the kind that protects the tvs when shipped. The body is then covered in a white velvet cloth This cloth helps keep the clothing from sliding off. I got this because I am always styling outfits. I get home from buying things and then after taking a shower try everything on and take pictures. This is so much easier and way more fun. The model is a size 6. I'm a size 14 but the clothing still works. I love that the model has a long neck because I am always matching up necklaces and some are heavy and some are light. The model styles beautifully. I wasn't sure why the model was taller than me but my husband whose mom was a seamstress says it is so you can get access to the entire garment. This is great because I can style my shoes with the outfit too! It's nice to prep an outfit on the model versus finding a closet door hook. This isn't really a dressmaker's type of model unless you make size six samples. Putting all the clothing on was quick and easy and the model is soo light. The base is very sturdy. She is on carpet but if I took her downstairs she would stand firm on the hardwood floor. There is light padding too to protect your hardwood floor. I was so excited to get her. I have always wanted one, and now I do! Soo many outfits soo little time!

This was so easy to assemble and has a nice, Heavy gold base to it. The base had a couple of scratches upon arrival but you can’t see them at all once it’s in position. Very cute and a great addition to my studio while I start learning how to sew!

Perfect dress form! Super easy to put together. It took only a few minutes. I like that the base came with a protective film over it to prevent scuffing and scratching. It was easy to peel off and after that, the assembly of the dress form was a breeze! It’s not too heavy and can be easily lifted if you need to move it. It would also be easy to disassemble and reassemble if you had to move to a different apartment, state, or whatever.
