    • Durable and nice to have on a desk

This was exactly what I was looking for. I use it for holding folders, notebooks, and stacks of paper on my desk. It's design means that it takes up only as much space as it needs - its footprint is just a bit longer and wider than a sheet 8.5X11 paper - and not an inch more. I have the papers and folders laying sideways, so the paper takes additional space on the sides of the product; however, the product is sturdy enough and the slats are tall enough that I could store folders and notebooks vertically if I wanted to minimize the space taken by the paper. The product picture made me think that the Alloy Steel color would look either blue-ish or like chrome. The color is more like a brushed nickel color, which I think looks great on a desk. It looks more expensive than it was! Finally, my product came undamaged and also had four plastic "feet" that I snapped onto the bottom of the product. You can place the feet anywhere along the bottom. With the feet, it sits firmly in place and doesn't damage the top of the desk. I would buy this again if I needed another one. ... show more

The product arrived on time and does the job reasonably well. The only shortfall I find is that the "feet" coverings or caps wear out relatively quickly and can damage your desk top with deep scratches. That is not something I'm happy with. These "coverings" should be more durable and last longer.

This may sound strange, but I used my desktop organizers in my built-in desk file drawer. Having difficulty getting the Pentaflex folders to stay up I used 2 desk top organizers put together and they fit perfectly. Thus, no Pentaflex folder just a space for my folders to fit in nicely. I would have taken a picture, but I don't know how to send it. Only a limited number of folders (20) can be used but having the most frequently used files close by is more important to me than the number of file folders.
