I have the most horrible time buying the right size shoe online. I took a "guess" on this, and if I failed and got a shoe too small, I knew that the younger sister had a shot of fitting into them. Since we babysit grandbaby, she is at our home when packages arrive, and to her she thinks every package that comes is for her. So, when she finally saw something actually for her, she made me immediately put the shoes on, and wouldn't take them off. She is officially just past 17-months old, and on the shorter/smaller size for her age. But these fit nicely around the ankle to stay on. NOTE to self: I will look for more shoes in this style where the Velcro wrap crisscrosses higher and closer to the ankle, rather than lower on the foot across the lower part of foot. She had them on inside for an hour, then we strolled up to the little neighborhood playground where she stomped all about and climbed up the steps to the slide. She loved them They may only fit for a few weeks, but for now they seem to be the perfect fit. Note: we put them on without any socks on, as she was in a hurry to get them on. If they were too big, I would have put socks on to fill up space.

These shoes are exceptionally cute and the availability in multiple colors is a definite plus, offering great variety to match different outfits. Baby shoes make my heart melt! These are little "baby's first walking" shoes - but in super trendy color patterns - not your traditional monochrome baby booties. I chose the beige/blue pattern - and it is just as cute in person as it is on the item page. They are extra wide for those fat little baby feet - and come in sizes by age (in months). They make a great gift for a baby shower, birth announcement, or every baby's 6 month or first birthday! The closure is Velcro and it is big enough to give a really secure fit. They are flexible but sturdy and have grippy soles for better stability. The heel is reinforced and has a little pull on it to make it easier to put on baby's feet. Overall, these are well-made, super-cute and perfect for baby's first steps. Love 'em!!

My baby is 13-months-old and we've been on the hunt for the perfect shoes ever since she started walking just before her 1st bday. Our favorite so far is Natives, but these are a close second. The velcro opens really wide so it's easy to get her foot in. The closure around the ankle is tight so they don't fall off. The toe box is wide which is what everyone recommends these days. The neutral color matches every outfit. We love them! I will say, we always make sure she's wearing socks with these only because they are tight around the ankle. I haven't let her try them without socks, so I can't say for sure if they would irritate...I'm just using mother's instinct based on how they would feel on me!

These cute little toddler shoes are lightweight and breathable. They have a bunch of room for little toes, so no more toe-squeezing or toes getting rubbed raw. My little niece loves that these are velcro as opposed to slip-on, as it makes her feel involved when we put the shoes on together. I love the neutral color. It matches everything and doesn't get dirty as quickly as white. These would also work well in the river, since the mesh material easily lets water in and out. And the rubber sole will protect against accidental stubs on rocks.

These walking shoes for babies are really nice. They have a square toe box to allow for plenty of toe space. The Velcro strap makes them easy to get on and take off. I like that it is up near the ankle to allow you to tighten down if need be. The rubber sole is thick keeping babies foot safe from anything they may step on. They are lightweight and feel breathable. I would even think they could wear these at the beach and they would dry out just fine. I think they are a good value for the price and will buy again in bigger sizes as baby grows!

These shoes are a toes pincher. Look at the photo of this shoe in comparison with another shoe that is comfortable to wear. The toe box is non existent. The material is pretty rough abut light weight. The Velcro makes it easy to put on. The heel is floppy and unsupportive. The sole is flexible and slip resistant. And the color is pretty gender neutral. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this for healthy feet development.
