It has a total of 125 little grid sections on each row. You can easily organize by color and size. And you put more than one pair earrings in each little section. I’m older so I don’t wear big hoops or big dangling earrings so this would not work very large size earrings. I buy the small size. The compartments in this organizer make it perfect for storing beads--I was able to fit my entire seed bead collection into the 5 drawers to help keep them separated. The plastic seems thick and sturdy. However, the drawers are difficult to slide in and out. The sides of the drawers are too short to fit the guides, so they easily fall when you pull them out and get stuck when you try to push them back in. Not the best design, but I guess for the price what can you expect. I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could because while it's cute and has lots of compartments, I feel like the drawers not functioning properly almost defeats the purpose of having...a set of drawers. ... show more

The drawers stick but adding a bit of silicone based spray or bees wax can prevent that.
