    • How to get rid of the smell

The reviews are right, this has a fish smell to it. I disagree that it is as dramatically and extremely offensive as some reviews make it out to be. I highly doubt someone could smell it just from you walking around. But stick your nose in it and you’ll smell it. BUT I found an easy solution: turn the bag inside out, make 1/2 lemon juice 1/2 water solution and dampen a sponge with it and wipe the inside of the bag thoroughly without soaking it and then wipe clean with a paper towel. Leave it to sit out overnight and no more smell! If there’s still a slight smell, repeat and air out again. Turn right side out, and repeat with smaller pocket if needed, you just won’t be able to turn it wrong side out. Other than that it’s a great bag! I’ve never seen a clutch with this design before and I’m a sucker for secret pockets. The faux leather is nice and soft and isn’t cheap looking. If you don’t mind a little bit of work before you get to use it, I’d say go for it! ... show more

I didn’t expect this quality! Came wrapped carefully so that all the hardware and the body of the purse is unscathed. Now I wish I ordered other colors from the same brand and not elsewhere. There was no harsh smell coming from mine - I might have been lucky.
