I bought this dress for Valentine's Day and my boyfriend loves it. I had to do some configuring to get the top to fit just right. I'm small in the chest area around a B cup. I think it would have been better on someone more busty than me. But otherwise it fit, it's longer about mid calf on me since I'm short. There is a pretty decent side slit on one side. I appreciated the adjustable straps. It's made from a silk like material. I washed it and hung it up to dry and it did just fine.
