This is a must have device for any homemaker who spends any time preparing meals. I gave this product as a gift, after a visiting relative commented she had never paid any attention to its availability on the market. She watched me brown hamburger meat, neatly mincing the meat in the frying pan (non-stick pan but does the same job with any pan surface). My tool is "cheap", but I love it. The extra fin is a design I would appreciate as my 4 fin probably makes for more work, and the more ergonomic handle on this model would be helpful. Cannot justify buying myself a new one because my old one is still most serviceable. The person to whom this one was gifted, has given me feedback of total satisfaction in using it, and commented that it would have been nice to have had one "years ago". I use mine in meat mincing, some egg scrambling and in other foods were "lumps" need to be diminished to a smaller size. If you do not have one, it is a small price to pay for a tool you will use over and over again in meal prep and you will develop an appreciation for having learned about it. ... show more

If you cook a lot of hamburger or sausage and hate using a spatula to break it up, this product is for you. It is so much more efficient. I'm sure you could use it for other things, but this is how I use it on a weekly basis. It has held up extremely well and cleans very easily.

This tool makes cooking and breaking up ground beef so easy. I saw this on a cooking video and I had to have it. It woks great at breaking up ground beef and also mixing things too! I made Chili with this and use it from start to finish. Excellent kitchen tool!

My only regret is not ordering one of these years ago. It is SO much easier when browning any kind of ground meat for a recipe! The end result is a nice uniform texture instead of random, too large chunks that I could never get right with a spoon edge or spatula. Bought this on recommend for potato mashing. It does work for that, however it does leave some large chunks and a traditional potato tool is better. This is GREAT for chopping up sausage and ground meats.
