To start I am over 40, 5'3 and 136 lbs, 36B, small boobs. I bought a medium based on reviews and it fits spot on. The material is ribbed so it is like a seersucker feel but I do not find it rough or uncomfortable. The bottoms do not fully cover my mom pooch, but they aren't horrible. I am comfortable enough to wear it to the beach. It doesn't fall down in the water and I got plenty of sand on it and it wasn't staining the suit. All in all I would recommend. I really wanted to love this bathing suit. The fit is nice and flattering and I loved having adjustable straps. It’s sporty and would stay in place well when I need to keep up with my 3 year olds I liked the look and texture of the fabric, but it felt rough on my skin. Especially on the adjustable straps. It felt like they were digging into my back and that’s what made me return it. Size large fit me well but I opted to return it because I didn’t like the feel of the fabric— I’m a medium top and large bottom in this bathing suit. If I were to keep it I would have kept the large.
