This is a longer review, but I wanted to share as much details as possible so you can be informed. When I read the reviews, I was worried about what size to get. I figured it was best to get a bigger size just in case. Turns out I was right. I ended up getting the large. I’m 5’4” with a 34A bust (I do wear a slightly padded bra making my bust more of a B cup) and a 31” waist. The dress fit perfectly in the bust, but the waist had extra material. When you add the belt, it pulls the extra material in for a fitted look. The belt is very long with a ton of holes for you to get the perfect fit. It is on the cheap side, but it works. It does have a built in strap to hold the loose end of the belt down, or you could cut the belt to get rid of the excess. You can use your own belt as a substitute, but read below for more information on why that might not work. It came with a long piece of material that had Velcro on the ends. It wasn’t pictured. I figured it was an extra “belt” you could use. I tried it on as a belt and ended up liking the look of it better than the belt that came with it. The Velcro didn’t line up when used as a belt, but I can easily get extra Velcro and put it where I need it. The length of the dress was a little longer than I expected. Like I said, I’m 5’4”, and the dress hit me about mid calf. I’m not a fan of my legs, so I ended up liking the length. The material of the dress is good quality. It does come very wrinkled. I can see why because I struggled to get the dress back in the bag for storage. It’s a lot of material. But that’s an easy fix with a steamer. The dress is very comfortable. With the type of material used for the layers, I was expecting it to be very itchy. I sew, and that type of material is known for being itchy and stiff. But the material they use is a softer quality. As far as the cut of the dress, it’s a bit off. I don’t know if it’s meant to be that way for the look or just my body. I have a normal to long torso and shorter legs. The waist of the dress hit me half way between my bust and natural waist. With the belt added, it looked good. If you are using your own belt instead of the one provided, keep this in mind. You might not be able to use your own belt if you are thicker around the waist like me, because moving your belt higher means less belt to work with and the holes not being in the right place. I’m using this dress for a belly dance performance, so having the waist sit on my waist is important for me since I’ll be adding a belly dance hip belt to it. I tried my hip belt on my natural waist and it made the dress look awful. I’ll have to wear the hip belt under the waist of the dress and make it work for me. Overall, I do recommend this dress. It is pretty, good quality, and comfortable. It is a great value for a dress with that much material and craftsmanship.

I wore it to an Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy unbuttoned (made it very low cut) and was comfortable the whole time. I ordered an extra large, it fit everywhere but the buttons (38 dd)

The dress looks nice but it came in the package ripped and way too small, even though I ordered one size bigger for my daughter. Wouldn't recommend buying, fabric feels cheap 11/7 I also never got a refund for this product when I returned it more than a week ago. I would be cautious before buying.

Really cute dress and looks good while wearing but the material is really cheap and shiny looking. The fit of the dress is great, the fabric is disappointing and really cheapens the whole dress. Fits true to size and maybe with steaming and some extra tulle it could look more expensive. It also comes very crumpled and the tulle doesn’t sit right.

I wore this to two separate Halloween parties. At the adult Halloween party I got so many compliments. Handing out candy. It’s a little kids. I got treated like a Disney princess but children that loved Tim Burton Wednesday. I ordered thing separately and not pictured is the W Wednesday necklace that I wore with it. I remembered right after taking this picture right before handing out candy. Overall, it was a hit. I’m tiny so I ordered the largest Kid size. It was a little snug, but I’m glad it was. Fit like a glove. 5 foot tall 98 pounds

Seriously nice, well made costume for the money. The fabric is very comfortable and not itchy. All I needed to do is hang on a hanger and lightly steam for a perfect look. I ordered a similar costume which was double the price. It was a nice costume as well, but it was just too ornate for me (way too many ruffles on top) so I returned it. I'm very happy with my choice and would buy it again.
