This doesn’t come with any sort of wiring harness whatsoever. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Most other similar products come with a wiring harness, but I like saving money and a challenge, so I jumped at this. It’s easy to make a wiring harness that wires into the factory reverse lights for a couple bucks, so I did that. I started getting annoyed after making the harness when I noticed that the lights don’t fit in the aluminum bracket. I debated grinding out the little steel pod brackets, but decided to drill an additional hole further out. The bracket is aluminum so it’s easy to drill through. I drilled the hole and moved on to mounting. I made sure all my measurements matched up perfectly before ordering so mounting it to the receiver was relatively easy. I wrapped the receiver in electrical tape to avoid scraping it and rattling and bolted it on. The lights come with both size Allen wrenches needed, but you’ll need a 9/16ths socket, an adjustable wrench, drill and bits, and whatever tools you need for making the harness. I used 16 gauge black and red wire, heat shrink butt connectors, heat shrink tubing, solder/solder gun, heat gun, crimpers/wire cutters, electrical tape, a crimp-on ground connection, a self tapping screw, and a posi-tap for the positive reverse light wire. A “T” tap would also work, but a posi-tap is better in my opinion for a buck or two more. After wiring it all together and “dry fitting” it, I added two lock washers to the 9/16ths bolts and thread locker to everything else to keep it secure. I also cut out the original gasket where the wire goes in and used hot glue instead. All parts said and done took almost 2 hours and a 12 pack of beer, but the end result was worth it. I can see backing up now, and in a Jeep liberty (notoriously terrible reverse lights) with 20% tint, that’s saying something. All in all, I had a good time and it came out great. I’d buy it again if I knew everything I know now, but it’s not a plug and play install by any means.

Bought these lights for my Subaru. It was missing one of the mounting brackets, can't install them without it. Since they couldn't replace the missing bracket they refunded the order and I purchased them again as the set looks really nice and well-made. would recommend them.

These lights are as described and at a very reasonable price. I used these as headlights for a motorized bike, and with the includes bracket, they were quite easy to mount. I am very pleased with the lights themselves, and the brackets aren't anything too awfully great, but they work just fine and for such a low price they would have been worth it without brackets at all. I would have rated higher if not for 1 problem, one light is noticably brighter than the other. Very noticably in fact. Luckily for me they're not mounted side by side because then it would really stand out. It also happens that the dimmer of the 2 also has scratches both on the lense, and on the outside bezel of the housing. I can't see returning these and being without lights for God knows how long before I get a refund on my debit card, then reorder and hope they are still available and that I don't end up worse off than I am now, so I guess I'm just going to make do. I will say though, I wired both lights on the same circuit, swapped the order in which they were wired, and no matter what, both the blue halo and the light itself are quite dimmer than the others halo and light. I can only assume that it was either used and returned, or was a dud that was kicked around the factory and still found its way into a box. It's too bad really because if not for that, these things are perfect for what I need and fit perfectly on my bikes forks. You can see in the photo the top light is scuffed there on the rim. It's hard to see in a photo but the one with just the blue halos on you can almost see the difference, it's a lot more noticable in person. All in all, for the price I paid, I'm mostly content, at least they work and they do look pretty good on my bike. I think when I build future bikes I'll probably pay a little more elsewhere when it comes time for headlights.

Wouldn't fit my Curt hitch on a 2003 super duty with the supplied lights and brackets. Lights hit where safety chains hook. The lights are also not the same brightness as their driving lights. I ended up switching out the supplied light brackets to their driving light brackets and used the brighter driving lights also. Great product idea just not great fit for my truck or my 2004 dodge dually.

I understand it's not rocket science, its literally 2 12volt wires one blk one white and the install wire kit that was a separate purchase only like 10.⁰⁰ bucks great value in my opinion because even at Harbor freight a similar Wiring kit for 2 led off road lights or light bar ect is about 25.⁰⁰ even with a coupon this wiring kit from Amazon is a way better deal only thing I would wish for is some instructions for installing and possibly even some kind of optional diagrams for maybe 1 or 2 different install's

Installation was easy but the clearance between the bracket and bumper on my 21 Ram was not there. I used a flat bar to open the gap enough to roll the bracket in place without causing any damage to the bumper or bracket.
