Excellent! Easy to install, and looks beautiful! Used this for a custom controller build for a friend. Very worth the price, but if making for someone else, wear gloves to prevent fingerprints.

Pros: perfect fit, includes removal tool, screw driver and additional screws ( I used the originals, only difference is the included screws are black not chrome.) Color: the transparent purple is incredible and reminds me of the n64 atomic purple controller! Cons: if you don't know how to uninstall/install the faceplate you need to turn to the included qr code or watch a video on YouTube. No physical instructions included. Not really a con for me as I already watched a YouTube video on it prior to installation. Cost- it was worth the price to me but also prevented me from buying another. I feel 10 would be more reasonable but I would buy it again if needed either way. Final thoughts: I love the way these transparent faceplates look and feel. Very high quality. This is the first time I've ever thought to switch out a front plate on a controller. I picked up a used controller from goodwill and needed to replace the broken bumpers. While I had my controller apart I thought I might as well make it custom. The atomic purple color is spot on. The feel and texture of the plastic is just like the stock controller, and it fit perfectly with no gaps. If you have gaps like others are suggesting, try screwing in the center first and try again. If you have taken apart Xbox controllers before, it's super easy to swap and install. Both the full shell and the front are priced well, but I think the purple front and black back looks cleaner. I paid like $10-15 for just the front. Highly recommend! ... show more

You get exactly what you paid for. A great cover for your controller with the tools needed to actually pop off the previous shell & install this one. It's worth noting though that getting the previous controller to crack open isn't going to be easy so if you are thinking about doing this for the first time check out online guides or some youtube video's so you don't damage your controller by accident. The purchase comes with no real instructions. Just the face plate & the tools in a baggie. However the lid of the box has a QR code that takes you to the manufacturers website with a YouTube video. The YouTube video is very clear to follow. That said if you know what you are doing this is a real cinch to do & looks AMAZING after your are done. The edges all are flush with the original Xbox shell. It really looks and feels like this was manufactured by Microsoft it's so smooth. ... show more
