Very nice look.
Color: The Great Wave
comes with tools. A small part of the joystick area snapped after a little while but that's my fault. Just keep in mind it's cheap plastic.

I absolutely love it! Turned out amazing and easy to do if you watch a YouTube video of them doing it step by step. Definitely will order more of these again in different designs.

Gread design and feel
Color: The Great Wave
The product included everything that was shown and had a smooth gloss finish that I think is a lot better than the matte feeling of the original casing with my controller. It was mostly easy to replace and all the tools needed are included so I didn't scrounge around looking for anything. For the amount paid I am extremely happy with my product. ... show more

I love it, the feel is GREAT! It took time and a bit of frustration on my part (hey, I’m new to this!). But if I could do it you can! Definitely want a blow dryer (I bought a cheap one). And a set of tweezers. The screws and screw drivers worked well, but if you have your own set those would be good. Organizing the screws is a great thing, I saw someone use mini solo cups and that’s a great idea. Overall I love this and plan to do it for another controller. ... show more

Decent quality, but fit and finish need a little work for the price
Color: Wood Grain
The overall feel and quality are fairly high, but the thickness of the shell is not quite the same as an original shell, so this results in the face buttons and dpad being less firmly held between their rubber membranes and the front shell. This isn't too much of an issue for the face buttons, because the DualSense also uses a thick rubber piece around all of the buttons that holds them in place. But for the dpad, in my case at least, it was VERY lose even freely rattled around in its slot when fully reassembled. I had to disassemble again, and shim up the dpad itself with some strips of tape in the cross section. Now it fits tightly as it should, but this isn't something that should be an issue on a $20 product that's only half a controller housing. Beyond that, if I had to nitpick, the woodgrain print is a fair bit darker and less pronounced than the product images, and my touchpad grain is a bit distorted and crooked, likely from being dipped at an odd angle when they applied the print. Installation is simple if you are used to taking controllers or other electronics apart, but probably a bit daunting if this is your first project like this, particularly removing the touchpad from the front plastic of an original shell. This is possible to do without a heatgun/hairdryer, but it makes it a bit easier. Also, just a lot of ribbon cables and fiddly parts to potentially break if not careful or comfortable with them, but that's all just on Sony for making the Dualsense so over-engineered. Overall, decent product, but not amazing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I decided to give my controller a complete makeover and this shell was among the pieces I ordered and it turned out beautifully.I also got the rear shell in atomic purple from the same company. I recommend.
