Maybe the sizing is just inconsistent? I'm not sure if they've maybe changed manufacturers or patterns for this skirt recently, but I found it to be WAYYYY too small, despite the stretchiness. I'm 5'4 and fairly consistently a size 14, hourglass figure with most of my weight being in my thighs, butt, and boobs so I figured the large should fit since it really only needs to fit around the waist, right? Could not have been more wrong. Couldn't get the zipper up and, even undone, the bottom of my butt was hanging out. These are definitely Asian sizes! I was really disappointed because the skirt itself seemed well-made and it's really cute. Silver lining is that it looks great and fits perfectly on my 5'2, size 4 friend. ... show more

Loved this skirt/suspender set! It was perfect for my Ms Chalice Halloween costume. The quality was much better than expected, too! Here's a picture of the costume with a tulle skirt underneath. I like it so much I may buy in another color!

I wish the fabric was a little less meh - but I knew that from other reviews. It LOOKS good though (just hate the feel to my hand). I get so many compliments when wearing it though, asked where I got it, etc. One of my favorite skirts I've ever bought and a great price. I also removed that little pearl thing on the zipper as it hit me in a way that hurts when sitting against the wrong sort of backing.
