Very comfortable and fits great with my big curly hair. Good quality. I'm not sure if you're supposed to wash it by hand or not. I think the elastic lasts longer if you hand wash it.

I was shocked at how comfortable this was. I have a small bean head, and since this one doesn’t tie, I was worried it would slip off. While wearing it, it does feel loose. But after sleeping in it for several nights it never slipped off!

This is one of the best bonnets out there. Please note, this is not for people with short hair or non-big hair. This bonnet will do you a world of good if you have Senegalese twists or braids in your hair, big Afro, jumbo twists and just plain big hair or really long hair. If you have short relaxed or thinning hair, this will feel like a chef's hat. This bonnet has the most comfortable head band around it-that does not constrict your temples, or blood flow into your brain. Instead it wears comfortably and allows your head to breathe while securing your hair. Its lined with satin on the inside, but a less slippery material on the outside. Difficult to put on if you have curlers in your hair because the elastic will only stretch so far. I find that the elastic rides up and you don't wake up with the turban where you put it. It ends up above your ears and pulling up on the hairline in the back and it tends to work downward on the forehead. But... It absolutely did Keep My Curls intact and when I removed it My Curls were just as bouncy and beautiful as when I put on the cap. So if you can get past the minor difficulties and except where the cap decides to put itself on your head then you will love this because after all, you are trying to make your hair more healthy and keep your curls intact and not all mushed together and frizzy when combed out. I would recommend this very reasonable product to greatly help your hair health and retain your curl ... show more

It's a good bonnet to like walk around the house in or wear on the way to a hair appointment but sleeping with it is out of the question it is not very secure so it slips off your head easily and you would always have to readjust it. I would say still a good bonnet if you are not looking for much security and don't mind it slipping of from time to time then you should definitely buy it. I had a larger bonnet that never seemed to stay on but using bandanas were triggering my migraines so I tried this one. It's smaller so if you have a lot of hair it may not be for you. My hair is long but I wrap it so small ones work for me. It stays on all night but the band isn't tight enough to give me headaches so for me it's perfect. ... show more
